Description of Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth

Ideally located close to Gatwick Airport as well as the town of Crawley and is easily accessible from both the M23 and the M25. A pre-authorisation of up to £50.00 is required upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable 7-10 days after check-out provided no additional charges have been incurred.

Lyttons Bar & Brasserie, newly refurbished open-plan restaurant and lounge bar. Serving buffet English and Continental breakfasts, light meals throughout the day and A la Carte Dinners. Room service is available 6am to 10.30pm on weekdays, and until midnight at weekends. There is a tray charge of £3 Children under 13 eat free on dinner and breakfast packages.

Full English and Continental breakfast from 6am to 10am Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays Full English and Continental breakfast is available from 6.30am to 10.30am. Children under 13 eat free on dinner and breakfast packages. Full English breakfast - £12.50 per person

Located next to the full service Nuffield Health Gym, with a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna and a steam room next door to the hotel. A pass costs £6 per adult and £2.50 per child.

The hotel was lovely, the room was big, very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Staff were efficient and helpful. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent, all in all an enjoyable way to start your holiday. We shall certainly use this hotel when next we fly from Gatwick.

Very pleasant hotel, clean modern comfortable room and bathroom. The parking and taxi service to the airport worked well. The drinks at the bar were expensive and the food. Our stay was spoilt by being allocated a room really near reception. There was a function at the hotel and really noisy groups were congregating near our room shouting and laughing. I would have thought the receptionist would have asked them to keep the noise down. We had to leave the hotel at 4am so got very little sleep. We did not go to bed until 11pm and this noise went on until well after midnight.

Second year staying here and still the best hotel we've used for gatwick stay and park. Hotel is clean well maintained, food is good, parking is easy and well organised and we know our car is looked after. The car is not moved off site. Hotel was clean and comfortable. A bit noisy early morning with people leaving for early flights. Car parking was ok but car was really dirty when we collected it, with bird muck and pollen. It had obviously been parked under or close to trees. We were a group of nine so the taxi company sent a car and a seven sweater but the seven sweater was 15 minutes late. We also had a mix up coming back as the taxis pick up at departures on ground floor not arrivals on the first floor. This means they need you to be stood waiting for them to arrive as they are not allowed to wait. Would we use again - probably as it's less hassle than fighting the traffic on the day of you flight.

This was a very pleasant stay before our holiday. The check in was a long process because of the number of people checking in at the same time but the service was efficient and helpful. Our room was very good, with the usual facilities and the evening meal in the hotel very good. Initially the restaurant service was slow but the waiters were pleasant and helpful. Our return was very efficient and easy to collect our car and return home. I would definitely recommend this hotel and method of parking your car at Gatwick, it was very very good value for money.

The room was great, but you could hear everything going on in the other rooms and corridor, people seemed to have been partying all night - no sleep. Bar area was fine - had a drink before dinner with family. Ordering food - Staff didn't seemed to interested in taking our order.( 2 families with 2 children ). Food arrived cold and not as we ordered it. Didn't say anything at the time, to tried. Didn't stay for b/fast.- But coffee was great and morning staff were very good and helpful. We had a long trip to hotel - should have taken 4hrs - instead 7hrs plus..

Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel, problem-free taxi to airport and return by bus. About the bus service: the hotel gave me an accurate leaflet about the bus service: which bus stop, the number of the bus, the timetable, etc. However, two separate noticeboards at the bus stop said that the bus was an "on request" service. This was completely wrong: the bus was a regular service, as per the hotel leaflet. Obviously, this was not the hotel's fault. Just one minor issue: the notices at the exit from the hotel car park talked of a swipe card, which you aren't given. But just buzz the hotel, and they will let you out.

We have used a number of gatwick hotels with parking over the years and this hotel is the best we've used. The whole service was excellent, exactly as described, hassle free and gave us an excellent start to our holiday. The room was good quality, immaculately clean and the food in the restaurant was very tasty along with good service. Our car was not moved off site, was looked after and on our return was exactly as we left it.Thank you Holiday Inn and FHR, we'll be back next year!

Excellent value for money, very reasonable transfer fares to airport with private taxi firm. Room was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Would certainly stay there again if travelling from Gatwick.

Although we have stayed at this hotel before, we were very disappointed in our stay. The room we were allocated was very cold when we arrived and took ages to warm up. I do not like a room red hot but I like to be comfortable. The bed was most uncomfortable and both my husband and I had trouble sleeping. When we picked the car up we were disgusted at how dirty it was, it looked like it was growing mould. I had also not realised at the time of booking the complimentary transfers were no longer available, this was a huge factor in us using this hotel previously.

Directions
Coming off at Junction 10 from the M23, follow the signpost to the A264 for East Grinstead. At the first roundabout head straight over, you will then shortly arrive at another roundabout.
At the Copthorne roundabout take the 4th exit, just passed the turning for the Copthorne Hotel sign posted for Three Bridges on the A2220.
Proceed down Copthorne Road, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the Balcombe Road, continue down this road past the Hillside Inn pub on your left.
Approaching a mini roundabout, take the first exit onto Turners Hill Road.
Travel along Turners Hill Road, after the Flyover take the first left into the Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth which is situated 100yards on the first exit on the right hand side.
From the Copthorne Roundabout the Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth has brown signposts along the route.
