How to Get to London Luton Airport
Located just 32 miles from the centre of the capital, London Luton Airport is accessible by a variety of transport options.
Luton is one of the UK's easiest airports to drive to, being conveniently located just off the M1 using the recently improved junction 10a.
There is a great selection of car parking options currently available, both on-airport and off-airport.
Car Parking Options at London Luton Airport
There are numerous options for car parking at Luton Airport. Which one you chose will depend on your budget and preference. It is always recommended to allow at least 30 mins from parking your car to get to the terminal, but please double check with the car park you book.
On-Airport Parking at Luton Airport
The on-airport parking at Luton is either walking distance or a few minutes on the transfer bus. There is long stay, mid stay and short stay car parks to choose from. The long stay car park will normally be the cheapest option. Parking on-airport means that you park your own car and keep hold of your keys.
Long Term (Pink) Parking Luton Airport
Long term parking (pink) at Luton Airport provides cheap and secure parking with a short 5-10 minute transfer to the terminal which run on demand 24hrs a day. This carpark has the Park Mark safer parking award. The pink long stay car park has high perimeter fencing, cctv and is regularly patrolled by car park staff, Airport security & the police.
Mid Term (Green) Parking Luton Airport
The mid term parking (green) at Luton Airport is located only 2-5 minute transfer away from the terminal. The mid term green car park also has the Park Mark award.
Short Term (yellow) Parking Luton Airport

For the convenience of being the closest car park to the airport the price will be higher than the mid and long term car parks. If you are willing to travel a little further on a transfer bus you can find cheaper parking deals by selecting an off-airport car park near Luton Airport. Your location map needs to change as it placed us in an industrial area 50 metres up the road, when we phoned the number given I was surprised that it was answered immediately thankfully, the transfers need to improve as the waiting from the airport was too long, would we book again I have left a yes but it is a maybe.

We had to ring the designated contact number many times for our pick up, on our return - very frustrating as a number of us had tried to contact the number without success. Eventually a text stated that they had received a number of calls. ItÂ’s a good idea to park off the airport site but the communication needs to be much better. I was expecting a minibus to be ready for us but we waited nearly an hour for pick up!!

Good experience - transfer bus was waiting for us to arrive at the car park, then 10 minute drive to departures. The collection process was easy - had circa a 20 minutes wait at the covered pick-up zone for the bus back to car park. Better signage of the entrance to FHR car park would be appreciated.

You can book Luton Airport Parking with us right up to your day of travel. We'd always recommend booking as early as possible however to get the best prices and guarantee your space at your chosen car park.Â
Prices are set by the car parks and change with the availability so as the car parks fill up the prices increase.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund on bookings that aren’t used due to a vehicle breaking down.
There isn't a discount for booking more than one car but if you have a discount code or promotional email offer then this will be applied to all the cars on the booking.
If you're looking to make a booking to park more than one car at Gatwick then you can easily do this on our website. Simply enter your dates and times, choose the option that best suits you and when you click through to the booking form you'll have the option to "Add a car" and can make a booking for up to 5 vehicles at the same time.
Cancelling a booking is dependent on the type of product booked and the car park type as Non-flexible bookings cannot be cancelled at any time.
Flexible bookings can be cancelled any time after the booking is made, up to 24 hours before your booking arrival date.
There is a £10 cancellation fee, with the balance refunded. unless you took out the waiver fee when booking.
You can make the cancellation yourself by going to the help page and clicking on Cancel Booking
When you book a Meet and Greet Car Park, you will be met at the airport by a fully insured Chauffeur, who drives your car to a secured storage site.
On return, your vehicle is bought back to the terminal, so you can just drive straight home.
Holders of the Park Mark® award have been risk assessed by a crime prevention officer from the local police. The Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers and is managed by the British Parking Association.
We'll send you an email confirmation following your booking. This will confirm all the details of your booking, including a booking reference, so you can check that everything is ok.
If you didn't receive a booking confirmation email from us, please check your email provider spam/junk folder.
To re-send your booking confirmation, find your booking and select the 'Re-send booking confirmation' option.
It is important to have access to your Booking Confirmation, but you don’t have to print it. You must however ensure it is fully visible on your phone or device, so you can see all the information, directions and procedures you need to follow.
Booking Confirmations are sent upon completion of your booking, so if you don’t see it in your inbox please check your Junk/Spam folder in case it is there.Â
You can view or print or resend your confirmation voucher yourself by going to our help section and clicking on  View Booking or Resend Confirmation Email.
If you do not have the booking reference number, you can email us, or call us.
There is no charge to amend your car details.
You can make the change yourself by going to our help section and clicking on Amend Booking.
An invoice showing payment made will be sent to you by separate email from either Worldpay or from PayPal.Â
We don't use the parking confirmation as a payment receipt, as they sometimes need to be handed over to the car park. Â
You can get a VAT invoice by going to our Help page and clicking on Request VAT Invoice
Most car parks charge per day or part thereof, i.e. they count the day you enter the car park and the day you leave. That means a 7 night trip is 8 calculated as days parking and a 14 night trip will be 15 days parking.
This will depend on the car park you book, but we recommend that you arrive to drop the car off at least minutes 30 minutes prior to your earliest check-in/bag drop time.Â
The 'parking from' time on your confirmation is the time slot the car park has allocated you, so it’s important to let us know if you need to change the time, if its more than 24 hours before you are due to park. If it is less than 24 hours before your meet is due, you should call the chauffeurs using the number on your confirmation voucher.
Vehicle Details We can update vehicle details at any point. There is no charge for amending vehicle details.
Dates & Times Most bookings can be changed up to 24 hours before the booked arrival date. However, if you have booked an option marked as Non-refundable or Saver then the dates and times on these options cannot be amended and the booking cannot be cancelled. We are unable to amend details with 24 hours of your booked arrival date.

It's not a problem if your flight back to Luton is delayed. Your car will be kept safe and you can pay for any additional parking at the car park when you return to collect your vehicle.
