Newcastle Airport information
In 2016 over 4.8 million passengers passed through Newcastle Airport, making it the 11th busiest in the UK. This international airport, 5.8 miles from the city centre, is owned by seven local authorities and an Australian-based Investment Management Company.
Since it first opened in 1935 as Woolsington Aerodrome, it has continued to grow with passenger travel really starting to take off on the 60’s when the brits started to take their holidays in countries like Spain.
In 2004 the Departure Terminal was extended and refurbished with new shops, cafes and 1,200 new waiting seats needed for the growing number of passengers travelling to one of the 80 destinations now served.
How to Get to Newcastle Airport
Newcastle Airport is easily accessible from the A1 which bypasses the city centre leading directly to the airport. Just 15 minutes from Newcastle and near many major cities, such as Sunderland and Durham both 45 minutes away and Edinburgh a mere 2-hour trip.

Only 3-5 minutes away from the terminals by shuttle bus, the Newcastle long stay parking is great if you want to park your own car and keep hold of your keys. For disabled customers, there are designated extra-wide parking bays available.

This car park is as close as you can get, located directly in front of the main terminal building only a 1-2 minute walk. There is also a Medium stay car park which is a little bit cheaper and still only 3 minute' walk away.

Booked this as I thought my car would be safe, unfortunately got home after a months holiday to fine our car was damaged. There was no cctv coverage where our car was parked and you and the airport were not interested. For what I paid I could have and should have got a taxi. Will not use you again or recommend you or any affiliated company to you.

When we booked it was so easy. Our problem began when we tried to exit the car park. The machines would not accept our ticket when we pressed the help button the person on the other end made it feel as though it was our fault. When we gave him our car reg he couldn’t find it and my name was no good finally after having to open my emails I found my reference number and hey presto he found my booking. This was the first time we have had a problem so it will not put us off booking again but a bit of retraining in customer service won’t go amiss

Frequently Asked Questions
Cancelling a booking is dependent on the type of product booked and the car park type as Non-flexible bookings cannot be cancelled at any time.
Flexible bookings can be cancelled any time after the booking is made, up to 24 hours before your booking arrival date.Â
There is a ÂŁ10 cancellation fee, with the balance refunded. unless you took out the waiver fee when booking.
You can request the cancellation by going to the help page and clicking on Cancel Booking
Non-flexible bookings cannot be amended or cancelled.
Flexible bookings can be amended without incurring an amendment fee, however if the amendment results in a price increase ( e.g. a date change), you will be required to pay the additional amount.
You can request the amend by going to our help section and clicking on Amend Booking.
Holders of the Park Mark® award have been risk assessed by a crime prevention officer from the local police. The Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers and is managed by the British Parking Association.
We'll send you an email confirmation following your booking. This will confirm all the details of your booking, including a booking reference, so you can check that everything is ok.
If you didn't receive a booking confirmation email from us, please check your email provider spam/junk folder.
To re-send your booking confirmation, find your booking and select the 'Re-send booking confirmation' option.
It is important to have access to your Booking Confirmation, but you don’t have to print it. You must however ensure it is fully visible on your phone or device, so you can see all the information, directions and procedures you need to follow.
Booking Confirmations are sent upon completion of your booking, so if you don’t see it in your inbox please check your Junk/Spam folder in case it is there.Â
You can view or print or resend your confirmation voucher yourself by going to our help section and clicking on  View Booking or Resend Confirmation Email.
If you do not have the booking reference number, you can email us, or call us.
There is no charge to amend your car details.
You can make the change yourself by going to our help section and clicking on Amend Booking.
An invoice showing payment made will be sent to you by separate email from either Worldpay or from PayPal.Â
We don't use the parking confirmation as a payment receipt, as they sometimes need to be handed over to the car park. Â
You can get a VAT invoice by going to our Help page and clicking on Request VAT Invoice
Most car parks charge per day or part thereof, i.e. they count the day you enter the car park and the day you leave. That means a 7 night trip is 8 calculated as days parking and a 14 night trip will be 15 days parking.
This will depend on the car park you book, but we recommend that you arrive to drop the car off at least minutes 30 minutes prior to your earliest check-in/bag drop time.Â
The 'parking from' time on your confirmation is the time slot the car park has allocated you, so it’s important to let us know if you need to change the time, if its more than 24 hours before you are due to park. If it is less than 24 hours before your meet is due, you should call the chauffeurs using the number on your confirmation voucher.
Vehicle Details We can update vehicle details at any point. There is no charge for amending vehicle details.
Dates & Times Most bookings can be changed up to 24 hours before the booked arrival date. However, if you have booked an option marked as Non-refundable or Saver then the dates and times on these options cannot be amended and the booking cannot be cancelled. We are unable to amend details with 24 hours of your booked arrival date.

It's not a problem if your flight back to Newcastle is delayed. Your car will be kept safe and you can pay for any additional parking at the car park when you return to collect your vehicle.
