Additional Notes

Having read up on the Heathrow hotels, I decided it had to be either Sheraton or Heathrow 5, though they are in the mid to upper price range, since the connections to the airport are convenient - lifting heavy luggage affects my back. I then phoned FHR and discussed the options. I had to return to Terminal 3 from which there is no Hoppa bus to the Hilton - one takes the connecting train to T5 then a Hoppa, and I was uncertain whether there would be luggage lifting involved. Your helpful advisor suggested I could take a taxi (the Hilton can arrange an Â£18 rate), and since the Hilton's offer was Â£20 less than the Sheraton, it wouldn't cost me any more. Hotel was excellent and staff helpful. Completely sound-proof, though under the flight-path. Rather difficult to find, as there are insufficient direction notices once you get onto the local roads, and one could do with more signs for the Hilton, so I lost my way. I pointed this out to the hotel. Your instructions are alright, but it's a kind of industrial estate area, and there are roundabouts and road names are missing (I didn't see Poyle Road). Also, please emphasise which exit to take from the M25 - the signs for Terminal 5/Horton are a bit confusing, and I went down the wrong one (coming from the south). I have used FHR for some time now (mostly from Gatwick), and greatly appreciate being able to speak to an advisor and the option to make the booking over the phone once I've assessed what is available. Descriptions are good, and I've always been pleased with the results. I've just recommended your services to a friend. G Ward

All went well with the booking process. Hotel was good and able to park close to the hotel entrance. If travelling from Heathrow Airport again it is a service that I would use and be happy to recomend.

Excellent overnight stay, comfortable beds and very close to Terminal 5 and convenient Hoppa Bus, one other pick up on 15min trip into terminal. Hotel Car Park two minutes walk. Had to wait 20 minutes on return to hotel as just missed one bus. Overall best Heathrow stay-over we've ever had.

From the north:
Leave the M25 at junction 14. When the slip road forks, bear right, following the signs for the A3113 - don't take the left fork towards terminal 5.
At the roundabout, take the fourth exit towards Poyle and Datchet.
At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Poyle Road.
Go straight on at the third roundabout, then at the fourth roundabout, take the first exit into the hotel.
From the south:
Leave the M25 at junction 14. Keep left, following the signs for the A3113, then at the roundabout, take the first exit towards Poyle and Datchet.
