What is the drop-off procedure?

On arrival, youÂ’ll be shown where to leave your car and check-in at reception, where youÂ’ll drop your keys off. Airparks will park your car for you while you catch the shuttle right to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return, all you need to do is wait where you were dropped off and the transfer bus will take you back to the car park.

What security measures does the car park have?

Cars are parked in a secure car park with security fencing, CCTV, floodlighting and regular patrolsAwarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Maximum vehicle dimensions are 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions. Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by Airparks.

Excellent professional service, though I would say the car park is a tad more than 10 minutes from the airport. Its a shame the transfer service is reduced at night as waiting 25 minutes for the bus was the last thing we wanted to do at 1.00 am.

We have used these parking for a a number of times and have always found staff very helpful as I travel with 2 disabled people this is very much apprehended I do have one disappointment on our return bus there was only seat on the bus which was further up the bus which I finally got my mother who is 80 years old and disabled but my husband who is also disabled at to stand from the airport back to the car parking so could it be possible to either have front seats for disabled or maybe the drivers could sort this out on filling the bus I do not blame your company for this problem and it would not stop me using your facility as a have done for more than a year and for more than once a year I was disappointed that people sitting at the front did not offer the seats for these disabled people there was also a couple with a baby in a pushchair also at to stand

good service I think the £30 to take your own car to you at the airport is well over priced a taxi home is cheaper you might have more take it up if better price. The new box collection service is a good idea but if your allowed 2 hours due to plane delays did I have to go to office as gone 5 minutes over what booked that needs improving as over half of us ended up in the office and slowed things down and wont want to use if a women on her own very dark area and no staff about wont feel safe at all

The service was efficient and prompt - however, it would have been helpful to know, either verbally or on the ticket to redeem the car, which bus stop to go to at the airport for the return to the car park.

Checking in the car was easy and the bus was there waiting to take us to the airport. However our return flight was a little late coming in and as we were going over to the airparks bus station the bus was leaving half empty! As a result of that about 25 people had to wait 30 mins for the next bus in the rain!!!

Secure Parking Efficiant service. Maybe we were lucky as on departure the coach was there we did not have to wait and on return we walked out of arrivals straight onto the bus. No complaints

Why cannot bus at carpark open up sooner to allow passengers load suitcases in plenty of time? At present passengers have to leave cases at bus stop and then have only a minute or two to get them on board before coach leaves.

It can be interesting trying to find your way to and from the car park but I guess a satnav would overcome that issue. It would be nice to have a covered waiting area at the airport as rain and wind can be an unwelcome change from the warm sunshine on holiday.

Directions for Airparks Drop and Go

- Leave the M42 at junction 6 and take the A45 towards the airport.
- Pass through one set of traffic lights. You'll see the Holiday Inn on the right.
- Pass through another set of traffic lights.
- At the third traffic lights, go straight on, passing Morrisons on your left.
- At the next traffic lights, get into the right hand lane, following signs for Garretts Green.
- Take a right onto Sheaf Lane.
- At the roundabout, take the third exit.
- After half a mile, turn left onto Mackadown Lane.
- Airparks will be on the left, just before the railway bridge.

Arrival: On arrival, youÂ’ll be shown where to leave your car and check-in at reception, where youÂ’ll drop your keys off. Airparks will park your car for you while you catch the shuttle right to the terminal.

You'll be given a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it when you return. Then just wait for the shuttle bus to the airport in the waiting area. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.

Departure: Just catch the shuttle bus back to the car park from bus stop A - the same place that you were dropped off at. You'll need to show the ticket you were given when you checked in to the driver.
After you've collected your keys from reception, just drive to the exit barrier, and scan the barcode attached to your keys to get out.

If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.

The car park offers a grace period until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.
