Bournemouth Airport Information
Bournemouth Airport is an airport in southern England, previously known as Hurn Airport and Bournemouth International Airport. In 2016 the passenger total was around 670,000 and Ryanair and Thomson Airways are the main airlines using the airport for flights to Europe.
The site opened as RAF Hurn in 1941 but was transferred to civil control in 1944 and for a short time Hurn was Britain's only international airport, until the opening of Heathrow. In March 2001, Bournemouth Airport was acquired by the Manchester Airports Group, which was at that time the second-largest owner of UK airports
How to Get to Bournemouth Airport
Bournemouth Airport has excellent road links that help put it within a couple of hours drive of the M25 the journey can be as little as 75 minutes.

Short Stay Parking Bournemouth Airport
Premium Parking includes FastTrack through security for up to 6 people and complimentary hot drinks (x2) upon arrival to the terminal in either Joes Cafe or Olive Tree Restaurant.
The allocated spaces have extra space between vehicles with wider parking bays.

This is not the first time that we have had this problem but, on arrival at the car park, the camera did not recognise our car, so we had to press the button to ask what the problem was, and was told by a lady to hold on and he would find out, but, never came back to us, so we reversed and went to the next barrier, where the same thing happened, so we press the button this time and man answered and ask our name, and raised the barrier for us. This problem was not only an embarrassment for us holding up the traffic behind us, but, could of caused problems with us missing our flight.

It's so, so easy to park and fly from Bournemouth. The car park is right opposite the departures building - 5 minutes walk. FHR gave very clear instructions on how to enter the car park and where to park. When we returned we simply drove out. No hassle. Brill!

Frequently Asked Questions
Cancelling a booking is dependent on the type of product booked and the car park type as Non-flexible bookings cannot be cancelled at any time.
Flexible bookings can be cancelled any time after the booking is made, up to 24 hours before your booking arrival date.
There is a ÂŁ10 cancellation fee, with the balance refunded. unless you took out the waiver fee when booking.
You can make the cancellation yourself by going to the help page and clicking on Cancel Booking
Holders of the Park Mark® award have been risk assessed by a crime prevention officer from the local police. The Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers and is managed by the British Parking Association.
We'll send you an email confirmation following your booking. This will confirm all the details of your booking, including a booking reference, so you can check that everything is ok.
If you didn't receive a booking confirmation email from us, please check your email provider spam/junk folder.
To re-send your booking confirmation, find your booking and select the 'Re-send booking confirmation' option.
It is important to have access to your Booking Confirmation, but you don’t have to print it. You must however ensure it is fully visible on your phone or device, so you can see all the information, directions and procedures you need to follow.
Booking Confirmations are sent upon completion of your booking, so if you don’t see it in your inbox please check your Junk/Spam folder in case it is there.Â
You can view or print or resend your confirmation voucher yourself by going to our help section and clicking on  View Booking or Resend Confirmation Email.
If you do not have the booking reference number, you can email us, or call us.
There is no charge to amend your car details.
You can make the change yourself by going to our help section and clicking on Amend Booking.
An invoice showing payment made will be sent to you by separate email from either Worldpay or from PayPal.Â
We don't use the parking confirmation as a payment receipt, as they sometimes need to be handed over to the car park. Â
You can get a VAT invoice by going to our Help page and clicking on Request VAT Invoice
Most car parks charge per day or part thereof, i.e. they count the day you enter the car park and the day you leave. That means a 7 night trip is 8 calculated as days parking and a 14 night trip will be 15 days parking.
This will depend on the car park you book, but we recommend that you arrive to drop the car off at least minutes 30 minutes prior to your earliest check-in/bag drop time.Â
Vehicle Details We can update vehicle details at any point. There is no charge for amending vehicle details.
Dates & Times Most bookings can be changed up to 24 hours before the booked arrival date. However, if you have booked an option marked as Non-refundable or Saver then the dates and times on these options cannot be amended and the booking cannot be cancelled. We are unable to amend details with 24 hours of your booked arrival date.
To amend your booking visit the Help Section of our website by clicking here or Contact FHR and a member of our Reservations Team will be happy to assist with your enquiry. Â
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund on bookings that aren’t used due to a vehicle breaking down.
It's not a problem if your flight back to Bournemouth is delayed. Your car will be kept safe and you can pay for any additional parking at the car park when you return to collect your vehicle.
