What is the drop-off procedure?

Follow signs to the Silver Zone Drop Off Car Park. Drop off procedure- Require bay number, booking reference and car registration to check in at Self Check In Kiosks. Drop your key and you'll be provided with a green receipt. Keep this safe as it's needed to collect your key upon your return.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Hand the green receipt in at reception and you'll receive you keys back. Drive to the exit barrier, which should automatically open via ANPR. If the barrier does not raise, press the intercom button and an operator will assist you.

What security measures does the car park have?

Awarded the Park Mark award for safer parking, the Silver Zone car park has CCTV coverage, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and a secure fence, monitored 24 hours a day.

What else do I need to know?

The Silver Zone car park is for stays of over 3 days and offers the cheapest on-site airport parking. Simply check-in your car and keys at the Car Park Reception for a transfer to the terminal. The 24 hour courtesy bus takes 5-6 minutes and drops you right outside the Terminal door.

Access to car park is adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. Surfaces in some parts of the parking areas are poor, as are directions to available parking spaces close to reception area (which were available), On return for vehicle collection, there was a very long queue of people, inluding families, to pick up vehicles, unfortunately the weather was very bad, and everyone in the queue for vehicles and the families got absolutely soaked as there is insufficient protection/cover from the elements at reception, or anywhere else. The courtesy transfer service is promt and very frequent, though they do tend pack the buses at the airport, and some drivers refuse to leave until the bus is packed, including passengers standing and baggage filling the ailse.

Arrived at around 01.00. Had a wait of over half an hour for a bus to take us to the silver zone. Very long queues. Once at the car park, we were able to get our keys fairly quickly.

Checking in went very smoothly and we were dealt with very efficiently by the staff on duty. On our return,, again we collected the keys very smoothly. However, the car had been moved much further from the office than it has been when I parked it which was somewhat annoying as it was raining.

Very friendly and helpful when you first arrive at the customer desk. Instructions were very clear when you book online. Bus was already waiting for you when you handed in your keys. Dropped off right outside. On my return bus was already waiting outside the airport, very quick at the customer service desk I was expecting to have a queue for the amount of people on the bus but I was pleasantly surprised how quick the staff dealt with amount of people waiting. A very pleasant and professional experience.

We returned to Bristol airport at approx. midnight as arranged. We were informed that the car was available for collection in bay E34. We walked to Bay E34 and there was no car parked at this location. A member of staff was, thereafter, dispatched to find the car and brought it to the office shortly thereafter. Apart from this disappointment the delivery and return from the airport was prompt and satisfactory. We do not feel, however, in the light of the above, that we would be prepared to use Silver Zone parking at Bristol airport again.

Directions for Silver Zone Car Park

You may notice a change to the internal road layout at Bristol Airport. There is no change to Silver Zone car park and your bus will follow the new road layout to drop off and pick up at the terminal as usual.

Follow signs for Silver Zone Car Park as you approach the airport on the A38. The car park is situated South of the main Terminal, so please do not follow signs for any other car parks except Silver Zone.

All Silver Zone customers will be required to hand over their keys as thier car will be moved to a secure on-site location.

Silver Zone - Arrival Procedures
Enter the auto scanner, the barriers will automatically raise once the scanner has taken images of your vehicle and your registration is recognised on the system.

Drop off procedure- Require bay number, booking reference and car registration to check in at Self Check In Kiosks. Drop your key and you'll be provided with a green receipt. Keep this safe as it's needed to collect your key upon your return.

Exit the reception area and wait for a courtesy bus to take you straight to the terminal, (buses run every 15 minutes). Journey time approximately 7-9 minutes.

On return
When you return, take the bus straight back to Silver Zone. Go to the Silver Zone Collection area. Hand over the green receipt and retrieve your keys. Follow the signs to the exit and the barrier should raise automatically.

If the barrier does not raise, please press the intercom button and the team will assist you.

Note: Any over stay fees will be taken at reception prior to keys being released. Overstay rate at Silverzone is £30 per day or part thereof (subject to change)

I dont know which vehicle i will be using so can i put the registration number in at a later date or is there a cost to change the details if i enter one when booking now?We can amend the vehicle details at a later date. We do not charge an amendment fee
I notice there is a quote for £53 which is non amendable.Is this price of £59.00 amendable as I am changing my car and I'm not sure if this will happen before I travel or upon my return, therefore the registration number will be different??We are unable to change the times and dates on the non flexible option but is fine to amend the vehicle details.
