Service was great. Only issue was that the offices had a very strong smell of smoke , so if it had been raining and you had to sit in the office waiting for their people carrier to come , your clothes would have a odour of smoke. Think it is a good service. Only comment I would have is that your Customer service agent on outward journey obviously had a bad day , as we all can have , and needs to learn not to transfer this to the customer. He had a bit of a bad attitude. Have used your service a number of times and will continue to. Do not in anyway wish to cause your employee any grief but he could do with lesson in customer care. Excellent service and arrangements at car park and at the drop off point, with clear helpful instructions on easiest access from very pleasant and helpful driver. On return however, it was exceedingly difficult to find the courtesy phones as there was absolutely no signage to indicate even which direction to go in! I realise this is an issue for Edinburgh Airport, rather than Flying Scot Car Park, but it might encourage the airport to make the delivery of your service even better if you were to point out to them that some sort of signage from the baggage hall would be beneficial. That was the ONLY niggle with the whole car parking situation.

The service is more reasonable in terms of cost compared to parking in the airport directly. The only small inconvenience is having to walk to the bus stop, which is now further away with recent airport modifications, and having to wait for the bus (this time around 10 minutes which is longer than usual) when it is dark and cold. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I use this service often.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
