There was a problem when I returned as although my confirmation showed my correct return time, the car park thought I was arriving much later, and my car was not available. Everything was sorted out, with only a short delay.

No problems with parking and collecting the car after the holiday. The usual high standard, however the drop-off and pick-up points at Edinburgh airport are not ideal in any way. We just missed a pick-up and waited 15 minutes (which was acceptable) for the next pick-up. it was at night ... it was cold... the pick-up point is exposed to the elements ... thankfully it wasn't raining. I will serouusly need to consider different arrangements the next time I travel. Incidentally it would appear that many of the other companies drop-off and pick-up in the same area. I think its maybe Glasgow airport the next time !!

There was a long wait this time for the bus to arrive to take us to the airport, and then on return, they did not have my keys and could not find them. Eventually OK but not the normal excellent service I receive. I will continue to use the service as it is very good, but was disappointed this time

Flying Scot dropped my car keys in some-one else's car and it took about 10 mins for them to retrieve them which was exceedingly irritating. Unfortuntely I've booked with them again -wish I hadn't. However, service form FHR was excellent

Friendly efficient service. My only criticism would be that there seems no reason to telephone from the airport only to get a recorded message to go to gate 5 when this had already been advised on departure.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
