Arrvival was fairly smooth,but coming back was a bit of a nightmare.After retriving our bags we proceeded to stance 7 where we were met with a queue of about10 people,who had been waiting for about 15 mins.We joined the queue and waited for a further 15 minutes,eventually a coach arrived,but alas no room for us,so we had to wait a further 10 minute s As this was just passed 3in the morning we were getting pretty tired.Eventualy we got to flying Scott but the car wasn't ready it had been parked somewhere up the back.We managed to set of for home about 4oclock

We have used Flying Scot many times and had no problems. Giving four stars instead of five due to the length of time it took to pick us up. Phoned three times and left messages as requested,telling them our name and that we were waiting at stand 7 as requested. Another family waited longer than we did,they had also left messages but to no avail. Thankfully my son found the number online to actually speak to someone,only to be told they had not picked up any messages!! We waited half an hour in the rain so we were not impressed this time.

Booked car into Flying Scot from 8th to 23rd June.when we arrived were told agents had made mistakes and we had to go to Low Cost parking ,further from the airport.Service there was fine but not the hassle we needed.

was booked in and paid for parking at the flying scot site but when i got there they told me i would have to go to there low cost site 10 min away was not happy about this as its cheaper to park there and id paid to be 2 min away but after a little bit of expressing my annoyance was able to park there.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

Full on-site valet services available. Flying Scot are 'Carbon me org' and 'Proud to be Green '

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
