What else do I need to know?

Both Long Stay 1 and Long Stay 2 have disabled parking spaces in area 7. Make sure you have your Blue Badge in your windscreen. There is no height limit. Skis, bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on the transfer buses.

Easy on-line booking. Easy airport arrangements. Good shuttle service. Only improvement - make the directions clearer for where to get the confirmation document endorsed on return to allow exit from car park. We found it by chance at the airport central info desk, rather than a sign or details on the confirmation document.

Easy to find the airport long stay car parking area a few minutes drive from the airport. Find your own space but frequent bus service to the terminal. In order to re-validate your exit ticket you have to walk the length of the terminal to a not very obvious information desk manned by a young lady with attitude and then retrace your footsteps to catch the bus back from the entrance to the terminal. This is not ideal especially with heavy luggage. As the second parking area had been opened, we also had to tour that before the bus went back to car park 1. Not my first choice for parking at Leeds.

Excellent car park and shuttle bus service is very frequent. It was just a kshame we had to trek to check in hall a to obtain tickets to get out of the car park. Would use the service again and recommend it

Bus transfer system very efficient. Only problem was on return having to go to arrivals hall to validate ticket before catching bus back. My sister had booked with Holiday Extras and didn't have to do this

At the roundabout on the A658, near the airport, take the third exit if you are travelling north, and the first exit if you are travelling south, onto Whitehouse Lane.
Take the second exit at the next roundabout.
Take the first right after the Travelodge and follow signs for the Long Stay car park.
You can park in either Long Stay 1 or Long Stay 2.

Give yourself at least 20 minutes to park and get to the airport.

On Arrival:
You should bring a copy of your confirmation with you.
Pull up to the car park's entrance barrier and your car registration will be recognised and the barrier will lift to let you in. If your car registration plate is not recognised or if you need any assistance just press the call button which can be found on all entry or exit barriers at the car park.

Do not use your debit or credit card at any time or you could be charged again for your parking.
You can drive into the car park and pick a free space. Once you've parked, follow signs to catch the car park's bus to the terminal. It runs when it's needed and takes 4 minutes. Skis, bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on the transfer buses.

On Return
When you get back, catch the bus to the car park from where it dropped you off and find your car where you left it. Follow the signs to the exit and as you approach the barrier your car registration plate will be recognised and the barrier will lift.

If your car registration plate is not recognised or if you need any assistance just press the call button which can be found on all entry or exit barriers at the car park.

Do not use your debit or credit card at any time or you could be charged again for your parking.
