Having used APH Manchester parking several times with my parents on family holidays I was sure I had picked a safe and reliable place to leave my car. On arrival I believed I had everything that I needed including the booking reference and identification. The woman behind the desk was very unwelcoming and rude when asking for details of my car and booking. Unfortunately I did not have the flight reference for our return flight but could provide the date and time of our return and the terminal we would need picking up from. As I had given these details when booking online and was not asked to bring them on my confirmation email, I was not aware I would need to have them ready. After a lot of huffing and complaining on her part, she took my travel wallet from me to see if the details were on any of the other papers I had with me. Once we were finally sorted, she ended our conversation asking us to next time be more organised. I was in such shock that I couldn't bring myself to show her the copy of my booking which at no point asked us to bring anything more that our booking reference. Her behaviour and attitude made the experience unpleasant and would unfortunately put me off using the company again. I can't however, complain about the treatment of my car or the ease of getting to and from the airport on the bus provided.

Easy to find, convenient and seemed to be safe with no misuse to the car. The people at the desk were not really friendly and had little to no customer service skills. Although it was Christmas time so they probably did not want to be there. Even forgot my ticket on return and still managed to get on as I had my passport. Overall happy and would use again.

On arrival, waited 10 minutes in waiting room before bus arrived, busy journey to T2 at Manchester and overall took 30 minutes from arrival at APH to drop off at T2. The lady behind the counter was on the on the terse side of efficient but the driver was very helpful with bags and allowed people to be seated before leaving. On our return, the bus was in the bus stop, the driver put the luggage on the bus and we arrived back in 10 minutes. The receptionist was polite and helpful and the process worked efficiently. I would use them again and hope for a shorter time to the terminal on the outbound journey. Overall good value for money.

From booking to picking my car up everything was made easy, we arrived at the carpark at 3:45 am booked in and was then straight on the waiting bus and then dropped of outside the terminal doors. On our return we rang the number after getting through customs and the bus was there within 5 mins, got back to the depot and the car was there ready for us. The drivers on both journeys were excellent putting our bags on the bus at one end and then making sure we were ok at the other. Thank you very much we would definitely recommend this carpark to anybody flying from Manchester Airport

Directions for APH Manchester

The car park must retain your keys.

M60 anti-clockwise: exit at Junction 5 and then exit at second junction signed A560. At the roundabout turn left signed Sharston. Go straight on at the next roundabout and left at the next roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate . Take the first left and the car park is on the right.

M60 clockwise: exit at Junction 4 onto the M56. Exit at J2 signed Wythenshawe, go right at the roundabout into the Sharston Industrial Estate. Take the first left and the car park is on the right.

M6 Cheshire: join the M56 and exit at J3A signed A560. Turn right into A560 and go straight over the next roundabout. Left at the next roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate. Take the first left and APH is on the right.

APH are unable to transport bikes, surf/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer coaches. Buses are wheelchair accessible.

Arrival procedure
1. At the entrance to the car park, wait for the barrier to open automatically.
2. Drive into one of the marked arrival bays.
3. Unload your luggage and check in at Reception. Your car will be charged and then moved to a secure parking bay by a fully trained and insured driver.
4. Take the next transfer bus to the airport terminal.
Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and transfer to the terminal. You do not need to allow time for your vehicle to be charged; this will be done for you while you head to check in for your flight.

Return procedure
1. Once you have landed back at Manchester, call or text us.
2. Follow the signs to the marked APH bus stops just outside the terminal.
3. Take the next transfer bus back to the APH car park.
4. Collect your keys from Reception and pick up your car, which will have been charged for you.
There are staff on hand 24 hours a day, if you need any assistance.

Transfer details
Transfers to Manchester Airport from the car park take around 10 minutes and operate 24 hours a day running every 10-15 minutes.
Please allow extra time due to airport roadway congestion.

APH will accept large vehicles, please call the car park to enquire.
APH are unable to transport bikes, surf/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer coaches. Snowboards/skis are acceptable.

Vehicle restrictions apply - Maximum vehicle height: 2.4m.


Disabled facilities
Staff are happy to help with the unloading and loading of bags onto the buses. There is also a disabled toilet at the car park and the buses are wheelchair friendly.

Good afternoonMyself and my boyfriend are looking to book airport car parking with yourselves from 8 October - 13 October 2015 however we are currently having issues with one of our cars and may have to use a different one on the day. I would like to book this as soon as possible but am aware that we need to provide a car registration number. Would I be able to book car parking with you and change the car registration number when we ascertain which car we will be taking?Kind RegardsRachael McCallumThank you for your message. If you make the booking with the vehicle details that you are most likely to use. If you need to make a change then either give us a call on 03444 122 900 and let us know the details or simply just send in an e-mail. In order that we have the time to pass the change of details to the car park we would ask if possible for 24 hours notice, particulary if you are using a car park that operates on number plate recognition.
Do we keep our keys?APH Manchester at Manchester requires you to leave your keys as cars will be block parked. If you wish to take your keys with you, you can try one of the airport car parks, such as Jetparks.
