When you arrive, your car reg will be recognised at the barrier, then drive through a state of the art scanner which will record the condition of your vehicle. Manchester airport started a bad experience on 29/5/22 by redirecting the writer from their "Prebook Only Drop and GO" car park at 3.30am as it was full !! How when pre booked? Result was we parked on T3 car park and walked to T1. A plastic token was given to exit T3 car park on our return which didn't work. (like the rest of M/r airport services) Why did I pay extra for Drop and GO when it didn't happen?

All in all not bad.. Few hiccups along the way. Sat nav took me around the back, but then quickly found where I should be going. However, the plate recognition didn't recognise my car. Slight delay but got in in the end and the system was good and easy to follow. On return to Manchester I had no idea where to wait for the shuttle bus. I looked outside arrivals but saw no clues, went back inside and walked around looking for clues or assistance. Eventually found a sign back outside that told me to wait at Stop C.. long walk back and missed the shuttle bus, so had to wait for the next one. All plain sailing after that but cost me an extra 40mins which I didn't need after a delayed flight. Anyway, GO TO BUS STOP C and you'll be fine, as I will next time around.

It's simple and straightforward to use, the only thing that I felt needed improvement is signage for the way in. It's to close to the terminal and there's a shuttle bus available. I was glad that there is a human to help if you get stuck on what is a mainly automated system but having used once it I would expect to manage easily next time

Car park easy to find and staff very helpful showing where to park car and leave keys, transport arrived a few minutes after we got to the bus stop. On return quick ride back to car park, bar code onto screen to collect keys from box with directions to colour section and number car was parked. Will use this again for parking.

Fine dropping off but Problems collecting our car, computer said we were late, which we weren't so wasted an hour sorting this out.. not great at 3am but finaly rectified .

Not easy to find . Upon return no explanation of where car was parked when I had got the key .An employee was walking by and in a tone that was very condescending told me it was written on the paper attached to my car as though I was an imbecile and should know .

Directions for Drop and Go - P16
You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.A convenient choice for Manchester Airport. Drop your keys off and head to the terminal while the insured team parks your car in a secure, CCTV-covered car park. With patrols and barriers in place, you can relax knowing your car's in safe hands. Walk to T3 in 5 minutes or take the quick shuttle bus to T2 – it's easy, fast, and stress-free.
Directions:
When you arrive at the airport, follow signs for P16 - airport signs won't say Drop and Go.
Exit the M56 at Junction 5 and follow the signs for Terminal 3.
At the traffic lights go straight ahead for Terminal 3, you'll pass the Hilton hotel on your left.
At the roundabout, go straight on, avoiding the ramp up to Departures.
At the next roundabout take the first left and continue straight on until the next roundabout.
At this roundabout, continue straight on, into the P16 arrivals area

On return:
When you return from your holiday, simply return to the car park and collect your keys from the reception area. Your car will be waiting for you in the dedicated returns area.
This car park is not suitable for vehicles over 2 metres (6ft 6in)
At the discretion of the car park you will have a 4 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 6 hour grace period on return. If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Manchester Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £61.40 per day or part thereof (subject to change) - If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
