Meet and Greet - Flexible Park Mark Award

Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car. From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

What security measures does the car park have?

While you are on holiday your car will be parked on site at Newcastle airport, in a secured location covered by CCTV and 24 hour surveillance. Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vans) will be accepted at the car park as long as they have less than 8 seats and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). The car park doesnÂ’t accept mobile homes, lorries or caravans.

Excellent service before and after flight. Friendly greeter when we arrived and professional and friendly staff when we returned. Easy access to airport from office. I did find the parking area a little difficult to find, the signs weren't very clear as to where to go, but that could have been me being a bit bleary eyed at 6am in the morning. Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

The easiest car parking we’ve ever used. Simply book online when you arrive your registration is recognises and the barrier lifts you park in the area for drop off and hand your keys over. Lovely staff also.

Once I found the correct entrance to fhr the whole process went very smoothly and on our return my car was parked very close to the office and allowed us a quick journey home, I will definitely use fhr again if flying from Newcastle.

Vowed never to use Newcastle airport parking again after coming back off holiday to find someone parked bumper to bumper with me in the long stay.This is completely different what a brilliant system first class service at a very good price will definitely recommend and definitely use again.

Have dealt with FHR for years great company very helpful staff. The meet and greet staff at Newcastle airport are also very pleasant too. Being disabled the meet and greet is only a minute away.

Price was outstanding but the airport staff struggled to find my reservation. Luckily I had printed off my booking form but booking in and out process could have been better. It seemed like the airport staff didn’t have a copy of the booking on computer.

Directions for Meet and Greet - Flexible

Please see directions/instructions below:

From the A1 take the A696 towards Newcastle airport.
When you approach the airport roundabout take the 2nd exit.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit, following signs to the Premium Meet and Greet car park.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit into the car park.

Arrival Procedure
Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car.
From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.
You'll be met by a member of the team who will give you a receipt, which you'll need to keep for your return.
From the car park it's a short 2-minute walk to check-in via a sheltered walkway.

Departure Procedure
Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day, which is subject to change.
