Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car. From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

What security measures does the car park have?

While you are on holiday your car will be parked on site at Newcastle airport, in a secured location covered by CCTV and 24 hour surveillance. Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vans) will be accepted at the car park as long as they have less than 8 seats and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). The car park doesnÂ’t accept mobile homes, lorries or caravans.

Great service as always used this many times never had a problem with the service. However this time I had a thief problem. Am a taxi driver and am exempt from wearing my seatbelt I have a seatbelt clip for this to stop the car for beeping at me. This went missing and didn’t realised until I got home.

As the m & g car park is closed you transferred me to Short Stay 1 which is even more convenient as you keep your keys a d don't have to queue to collect keys. I will endeavour to use S S 1 in future

Meet & Greet was not available and the booking was transferred to Short Stay One. No problem with entry to the car park, short walk to terminal. Exit again very smooth no problems.

Although Newcastle airport were unable to porvide the Meet and Greet spaces reserved we had a very good experience. We were allocated space in the Short term car park area and this worked well

Meet and Greet wasn’t available under present conditions. FHR rearranged for us to stay in the short stay car park instead. All went well, just gave our booking reference on return. Cannot fault the service st all.

Directions for Meet and Greet - Flexible

Please see directions/instructions below:

From the A1 take the A696 towards Newcastle airport.
When you approach the airport roundabout take the 2nd exit.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit, following signs to the Premium Meet and Greet car park.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit into the car park.

Arrival Procedure
Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car.
From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.
You'll be met by a member of the team who will give you a receipt, which you'll need to keep for your return.
From the car park it's a short 2-minute walk to check-in via a sheltered walkway.

Departure Procedure
Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day, which is subject to change.
