Great position opposite terminal, don’t think you can get closer unless you are dropped off.. Spaces a bit tight (but most are) and bad parking (mostly SUV’s) made it harder to get around. Good lighting, but pedestrian access once parked is very poor, you have to walk along the roadways

I've always used FHR and will continue to do so. The actual car park was very good. Close to the Terminal. I would use it again. But there is a big caveat and people need to be aware of a potential big problem if your flight is delayed substantially. You run the risk of incurring massive charges through no fault of your own. My low star rating is because of what happened after our arrival back to Birmingham Airport. Because our plane was over 5 hours late, we had to pay an additional £18 in order to leave the car park. Of course, at 23:13 there was no NCP staff to discuss this with, so we had no option but to pay as the barrier would not lift. Given that we had booked a stay for 8 days (6am Sunday morning to 6pm the following Sunday) this represented a massive proportion of the total price. I asked FHR if there was anything they could do about this. They explained that the contract was actually with NCP and that the Terms and Conditions state "If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days or part of, will be charged at the exit barrier at the car parks over stay rate after your booked return date". Therefore, my recommendation would be to book your car parking for as late as possible in the day (e.g., 23:59) and hope that you can get out in time if your plane is delayed substantially. I have asked NCP to refund the £18.00 as I believe it is the right and proper thing to do. Hopefully they will agree to this. If they do I will gladly give a 5 Star rating.

At the Time of reviewing the price for on site terminal was great, but is not undercover into departures approx. five minute walk. so we got soaked as raining. If the weather was good then would be great, easy in and out with no issues

Excellent parking within confines of the airport and only 150m from Departures. But the cost - £200 for a week was extortionate. We only booked because we were under time pressure as the flight was imminent and we hadn't remembered to book parking sooner. We'll book much earlier next time to allow ourselves to review much cheaper parking options to make sure they're legit and safe. I believe that the price we paid was artificially high because the system recognised that the flight was so soon (we tried entering some other dates further in the future and the price was much lower). We left ourselves too short of time on this occasion to shop around - lesson learned!

Booked car park 1 Birmingham airport 7/8/22 till 14/8/22, cost was a little expensive, i take it must have been the school holidays, no issues with parking very good. Would use again if prices was lower, but hay hoe, everybody needs to get there money back after COVID 19

Car park location, ease of access, entry and exit was excellent, my only suggestion would be directions to levels with free spaces to save driving through multiple full levels, but overall no issues just hassle free parking.

Yes it was simple to use, however the extra charge due to the grounds team not getting our cases off was shocking ! Its a good job we had a spare £20.00 to pay on exit !

Car Park 1 is 2.15m. Parking bays are 2.9m wide and 4.82mLeave the M42 at junction 6 and proceed along the A45 following the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs for Car Park 1.
At this car park you park your own car and keep your keys.
On arrival:
We are now operating as a ticketless car park. You no longer need to push for a ticket, our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.
It is important that you provide us with the correct registration number at the point of booking, otherwise our cameras wonÂ’t be able to recognise your booking.
Please ensure you park in Car Park 1 to avoid any additional charges.
