Apart from the fact that prices have shot up for airport parking overall, this service was fine. I booked Car Park 5 to keep costs down and it was a reasonable alternative to the closer car parks. There is a 10 minute walk to terminus and also a transfer bus option.

Very close to airport we were able to walk.Trolleys were left in car park near parked cars would be good to have a trolley park area. Would definitely use this site again.

All went well with the parking, entry and exit no problems. Had to contact FHR customer service a couple of times for car change and this was actioned promptly. Would use FHR again

Problem getting in and same problem getting out even though pre-booked and pre-paid. Had to buzz at barrier both times which was not great on return at 0300hrs after delays with flight. And then to be told by assistant to insert card as scanner not working to find screen stated £213 to pay??? Assistant eventually found booking and opened barrier. Space OK and car OK upon return which were the only positives.

Drive straight in and anpr picks up the reg so no need for a ticket. Same on way out. Dead easy ans conveniently located 5 minutes walk to terminal. Prices seem high but compared to others they are in line.

Very easy to book. Car park 5 is easy to walk to the terminal or you can wait for a bus to pick you up. Just be aware, the carpark is big, make a note of where you have parked.

All good on way in. However on way out machine wouldn’t accept our ticket. Had to ring for help and they sorted it. Not sure what problem was but was sorted without too much delay.

Directions for Car Park 5 - Flex Plus (N)
Leave the M42 at junction 6 and proceed along the A45 following the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs for Car Park 5.Birmingham Airport Car Park 5 is located to the south of Terminal 2 and a courtesy shuttle bus regularly operates for your convenience. This car park is located within a 5 mins via bus or 5-10 mins walk of the terminal building.
Arrivals Procedure:
We are now operating as a ticketless car park. You no longer need to push for a ticket, our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.
It is important that you provide us with the correct registration number at the point of booking, otherwise our cameras won't be able to recognise your booking.
Please ensure you park in Car Park 5 to avoid any additional charges.
Should you require any help, please press the assistance button and a member of our customer service team will be happy to assist you. The assistance button is located on the entrance column.
Returns Procedure:
Once you are back at the car park, drive to the exit where the barrier will raise automatically to allow exit.
If the barrier does not raise, it may be that you have overstayed or parked in the incorrect car park.
Any overstay will be charged at the standard tariff. You can pay any additional charges at the exit lane with your card.
Please make sure you choose the correct lane for payment and have your registration number ready to quote.

Bus picks up bus stops 2,6 and 7 from within the car park.
Bus stops B from outside the terminal.
There is a 3 hour grace period allowed to get back to your vehicle from your booked return time. After that time you may be subject to an overstay charge by the airport.

We are using a mini bus can this be accommodated?Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.15m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
