Booked to stay in the mid-stay 1 car park at East Midlands. Signs to the actual car park entrance were unclear, glad to see I wasn't the only one who tried to go in the exit but this is the fault of the airport, not FHR. Everything worked as advertised, walking distance to terminal, thank you.

Car parking was fine, however confirmation said it was mid stay 2, so we went there and couldnât get in. Help there said we should be in mid stay 1, which was where weâd hoped to be anyway. If the paperwork was accurate, it would be 5 stars

Found it hard to find the mid stay 1carpark..we arrived in the rain and in the dark and spent 20 mins being told by airport staff different places....and we were not alone several other cars cruising round airport.also disappointed where it was...lead to believe it was 3 min walk to airport..not...

Unfortunately the mid stay 2 car park we booked was full upon arrival. It was not a great experience having to drive around a tightly designed car park to seek a pre-booked space. That said we acquired assistance and a solution with an adjacent car park, which was appreciated.

Directions for Mid Stay 1
You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.
On entrance to the airport from the A453, turn left at the roundabout and follow signs to OTHER CAR PARKS. At the following roundabout take the first exit and follow signs for MID STAY CAR PARKS.
DO NOT ENTER YOUR DEBIT OR DEBIT CARD INTO THE MACHINE OR YOU WILL INCUR CHARGES.
Arrivals Procedure
When you arrive at Mid Stay 1 the barrier will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and will then open automatically (this may take up to 40 seconds). If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry DO NOT press for a ticket.
Return Procedure
To exit Mid Stay 1 go to the exit barrier will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically (this may take up to 40 seconds). If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken.
