Didn't know where to park my car when arrived. Shuttle bus took over 15 minutes to arrive and my car was blocked in by another car when I returned from holiday . The only reason for the 2 stars is for the mini bus drivers.

We always use the Flying Scot but we will be thinking twice about using it again. Arriving at park was fine but waited at least 30 minutes in their bus to wait for other passengers arriving. The return was bad. We arrived at Edinburgh airport roughly 2.30am and phoned them for our pick up which was an answering machine and then made our way to our pick up stance to be greeted by a Low Cost bus who told us that there was no Flying Scot drivers and they would take us to the entrance and drop us off. Thanks to them we were dropped off and then had to try and find our car. This has happened to us before when we have arrived early morning just being told your car is either over there on the left or as before over there on the right. You are tired at that time in the morning and would expect a better service.

Chaos heading out at lunchtime.Bus could not exit the park because too many vehicles coming in and no where. To go ! Returning at 4 in morning a week later and the same story.. I had to ask people to reverse back onto the road and ask one lady to stop her car in a way that would block cars coming in to add to the jam. Might have been an idea to immobilise the barrier to stop cars piling in !!! Took me 30 minutes to get out of the place.not happy and won't be back. I have used this place dozens of times over many years. Don't know what's went wrong. It's a complete shambles.

I have used Flying Scot for holiday parking a few times previously with no problems atoll. Alas,on this time I was very disappointed with the service. On returning to Edinburgh Airport the pick up bus did not turn up when requested,leaving ourselves and other passengers standing for some twenty minutes in the freezing cold.On returning to the compound none of our cars were ready to be picked up.When my car was eventually returned the lower half was covered in mud, the tyres also caked in mud,this after the car was spotless when dropped off. NO GOOD.I will have second thoughts about using this company again .

Due an electricity outage my early morning parking at Flying Scot Edinburgh Airport was changed the night before to their sister company Low Cost Parking which took 20 Minutes longer than FS to get to the Terminal. This was unfortunate but not disastrous however on returning 3 days later I had to return to Low Cost to get my car, no suggestion of moving my car to FS to pick up....so I waited 45 minutes at the bus stop for the bus to LC while 3 x the FS minibus came and went from the same stand. By the time I retrieved my car 1 hour had passed since I called on exiting the Terminal and delayed my journey home...afurther 90 minute drive. I will think long and hard about using Flying Scot again after this complete lack of customer car, no apology received, nothing!

Arrived at 5am to cars everywhere on the street and not able to enter car park. We were told lots of people had arrived early and we should leave our car on the street and it would be parked later when they got a chance! Not a great start to the holiday wondering if your car was going to be ok. On our return we had to wait about 20 minutes for the bus to pick us up at terminal. Not the best service and would not use this company again. We had 2 young children with us who were very tired. We did not need the hassle and waiting around. Very disappointed

Car park was full on arrival. was told to leave car on the road, on double yellow lines. the car would be moved, but was paying for parking I don't expect to have to leave on the street. Bus was very slow in coming back for us at airport.

I have been useing FHR Airport parking for Flying scott Edinburgh years and years and the last few times I flew in the past few months the waiting time for the bus at the airport on arrival has been much longer then ever before. So although I like their location, I might just look to try someone else next time.

Parking area difficult to exit as vehicle was left too close to other vehicles. No toilet (out of action) not nice after a long journey.Surly at tendentious in office, impatient with hard of hearing customer

No problem getting to the Airport but returning early afternoon was not so good. There was only one bus and although the distance to the parking was not far it took the driver 3 trips before we were able to get on the bus. Driver was very busy and the stress was showing a little.

Arrived at 4.30 am to be made to reverse back out onto main road and had to leave the car on double yellow lines along with many others as it was grid lock! They had obviously overbooked. Therefore it caused problems for the shuttle bus. This made us late approx 45 mins late arriving at the airport due to the chaos at Flying Scot.

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
