Another stress free start and end to our holiday. Thank you Flying Scot. After a flight delay on our return it was comforting to know our car would be ready for our onward journey. We were collected promptly from the airport and on our way in no time.

The journey to the airport from Flying Scot was trouble free. However, the return journey was not! Although I telephoned Flying Scot when we arrived at their stance we waited at least 15 minutes to be picked up. Then we were picked up by the Low Cost bus that took us to Flying Scot but could only drop us off at the gate. Once there the receptionist, who I had spoken to on the phone to announce our arrival, was himself on the telephone. He continued with his call and made me wait again. He then turned around to me and indicated he would be 2minutes. To this I told him I had already been waiting 15minutes to be picked up! So he ended the phone call to attend to me. Whereby I asked him if he had any buses running. He said yes but they were both at the top end carparks dropping off people who were not customers! I find this unacceptable and a shame because we have used Flying Scot on previous occasions without a hitch but I will certainly be looking elsewhere now for future bookings.

Everything went quite smoothly,changeover from our car to mini bus was quick and efficient which was really good.On arriving back in the U.K. there was a bit of confusion with mini buses and passengers.Bus said Flying Scot But was taking passengers from low cost and some other place.So when next bus arrived,which also said Flying Scot,this one was taking only customers of Flying Scot,we were happy with that so we didn’t have to wait about any longer.

When arriving back at Edinburgh Airport, I telephoned once I had my luggage as requested. Unfortunately myself and another passenger had to wait for our cars to be brought round. This was at 2.30am!! Should have been there just to drive away instead of having to wait around.

As usual Flying Scot car park at Edinburgh was excellent. My car was sitting waiting for me when I got back. Booking through FHR was, as usual quick, easy and a reasonable price. Well done to both companies.

Not happy at all when we arrived the driver was asleep inside the van someone had to waken him. Then on our return we phoned to get picked up went to the point of pick up and waitedfor nearly half an hoiur and its only a mile away! Sorry but wont be using flying scot again

Used Flying Scot for the first time when on holiday recently were very happy with the cost easy online booking car looked after and ready to collect even though our flight arrived at 2 30 am the bus was there to transport us back for our car the journey to and from the airport only takes a few minutes so all round we will use Flying Scot again .

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return

The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
