Upon arrival at the Flying Scot carpark, we were redirected to their sister company Lowcost because, due to a 'computer error' they had overbooked. This is much farther away than the Fly Scot carpark that I had booked originally. When arriving at Lowcost, they had no record and had not been told that I had been transfered. If I had been in a hurry, it would have potentailly led to me missing my flight. Overall not very impressed. P.S. The attendant at Lowcost was very helpful even though he had not been informed of the change (hence the two stars).

We have used Flying Scot in Glasgow for many years but this year we were flying from Edinburgh so booked into their Edinburgh Airport parking. It was very smooth and everything was perfect. I will definitely use Fkying Scot in the future.

Everything went well , the only criticism was your exit gate ,I forgot the code to get out, felt it was too long and complicated as you mind is on the journey home ,should be made easier, a three digit number.

Usually very quick at return pick-up but waited 25 minutes. There seemed to be only one minibus running and was trying to service "Low Cost" customers on one run and "Flying Scot" customers on the next one. Normally I would rate Flying Scot highly but they have gone down this time.

Car was safe and secure. However on arrival organisation was very haphazard we were instructed to park car in a very small area and very close together. I assume they moved the cars to parking bays later. While signing in at reception our cases were put on the bus and the bus was about to leave without us . On return it was late and our plane had been delayed by an hour and a half. The bus was waiting for us and driver was pleasant and friendly unlike the gentleman on reception who was gruff bordering on rude I certainly won’t be using flying Scot at Edinburgh again

Dropping off was the car was not a problem. The 'small' coach journey to collect our car was very disappointing. If we'd wanted a tour of other car parks then we would have booked it. A trip out to Ratho to drop off other customers who, incidentally, were not Flying Scot customers was not what we wanted. We've used FS a few time and always without the above issues.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

Full on-site valet services available. Flying Scot are 'Carbon me org' and 'Proud to be Green '

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
