Very smooth check-in and transfer to Airport. On return I phoned to advise of my arrival and arrived at stand 7 just in time to see the bus drive away! I think driver should have name of expected passengers and wait for them. Had to wait 15 mins for pick-up & when bus arrived stand was occupied by another bus so driver went to another stand,however he didn’t come up to stand 7 to tell us that & bus couldn’t be seen from the stance. Checkout was smooth at reception, my car was parked very close to a steel girder and I had difficulty getting in, so much so that I felt the need to inspect the drivers door in case it had been damaged fortunately it hadn’t This had been my worst experience of Flying Scot which is usually excellent.

Always excellent, no fuss service. Arrive at the car park, park car at the door, check in and leave keys. Minibus to airport ( I have never waited more than 5 mins) then dropped off a5 terminal within a couple of minutes. Similar experience on return. My favourite car parking service at Edinburgh airport!

Great, slick, efficient. Very close to airport so 3 min transfer is very real. Only dissapointment was the wait for collection on arrival back at Edinburgh. It wasnt long but it felt like a lifetime as it was freezing cold and blowing a cold wind. Would probably ring for pick up before getting bags next time!!!

Me and my wife waited for over 45 minutes for a pick up bus to take us back to pick up our car but no bus came We telephoned the number given to us when we dropped off the car and when I phoned all we got was an answering machine. That was at 22.15 hours not the middle of the night. There was one other couple from Peterhead also waiting for transport. In the end we asked if a bus driver from Secure air parks would drop us off at Flying Scot as this was on his route He kindly obliged thank goodness. It was very good of him I am most dissatisfied with flying Scots service considering and will definitely not be using them in the future. Peter Gordon

Car park is tiny, not a lot of space to manoeuvre, especially with largish bus sitting. Buildings round about with bus parked in front of reception, no one to ask where to go and no signs (sign behind bus). On return called but only recorded message, asked to leave name. We made our way to where we were dropped off and there were a lot of people standing. Bus arrived and driver started loading cases. We were last, so when we entered the bus there were no seats. Driver got in and drove off. No option to wait until the next bus. Very uncomfortable journey. Will definitely not be using this company again from Edinburgh.

No problem with the car park but unfortunately I found the staff in the office very off-hand and sullen. I said 'good morning ' on entering but was ignored completely. He didn't even look up and acknowledge my being there. Shame really as I have always used this car park. I know it was early but manners cost nothing.

As usual the service form Flying Scot was excellent. Fast & efficient check-in, pleasant staff, transfer bus ready & waiting. Similar story on return, only had to wait about two minutes for bus to arrive at pick-up point, car ready & waiting at the park. Could not fault any aspect of the service provided.

I have knocked off a star because when I went into the office the guy behind the desk ignored me and carried on doing what he was doing. He didn't even look up to acknowledge my presence. I thought this was very rude. In contrast the drivers were fine, especially the one who picked us up who had a friendly manner.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
