I frequently use the flying scot when flying. On this occasion we were very unfortunate in that on our way home there was only 1 driver on duty as his colleague had left him in the lurch. This meant waiting a good 25 mins to get our car standing in the cold in the early hours of the morning really wanting home. Not very happy but it was certainly not the poor drivers fault on duty!

Friendly and efficient check and transfer (just a few minutes) to airport. Our return flight was cancelled and we arrived home a day late. This caused some disruption to the drivers' schedules but they remained friendly and efficient. To Flying Scot's great credit, they did not make an extra charge for the additional 16 hours car parking.

Total shambles. On arriving at Flying Scot were informed that due to overbooking we would have to go to another car park about a mile away. Had to follow one of their vehicles in a convoy to find it. Had we lost sight of it at a junction or traffic lights we would have been unable to find the car park. Luckily we had given ourselves plenty of time to catch our flight but by the amount of raised voices other people hadn't. Will never use Flying Scot again.

The service was exceptional as usual - however when we stopped at Perth en route home we noticed blue scratches on the passenger side door. It is unfortunate we hadn't noticed this before we left although one of our other party did.

We used the car park over the Easter holidays so quite a busy time. There was a large queue at Edinburgh airport on the return trip with only 13 passengers being taken per trip. The staff were under pressure and grumpy. I would not use again.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
