Great place to park , quick transfer to airport but waited in rain a while to be collected n had child with us .... Maybe need more busses for amount of bookings ... Would still Really recommend ..xx

Whilst the service received on booking in and subsequent discussion with personnel because I had to extend my stay was excellent. On my return the personnel in the office were a bit gruff and I had a 15/20min wait to be picked up which may not seem much but my wife was suffering from pleurisy and was very uncomfortable.

The drop off was an unpleasant and chaotic experience - The person behind the desk was grumpy, being a Saturday it was busy, the mini bus woefully inadequate, and there didn't seem to be any queuing system for getting the transfer to the airport, so in the the end it took us nearly 40 mins from arrival at flying Scot to getting into the terminal. However the pick up on our return was good, bus waiting and took us straight back.

Picked airpark purely based on cost & this was reflected in service. Bit old-fashioned having to go to reception & leave & collect keys - all adds time to process.

Had a 20 minute wait for the transfer to the Airport. On return from holiday, it turns out the 4-digit phone details on the back of the Flying Scot card were 2 years out of date. When I called them via their full phone number the guy on the phone had a bit of an attitude and it was like it was my fault I didn't know about the number change. Another 20 minute wait in the rain at 1am. Returned to the carpark and then had a 10 point turn to finally manouver my car out due to the poor parking layout and poor lighting. Not good.

Have used Flying Scot numerous times previously and have been very satisfied. However on this occasion, drop off went very well, but after collecting luggage and phoning to office as instructed had to wait over 40 minutes to be collected, what was really disappointing was an empty bus drove away from the stance as we approached.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
