Fine on way out - during daytime. Return less pleasant. Surly driver, didn't respond to adults or kids greetings or thanks. Car parked in middle of puddle esp drivers side -2 inches deep. 30 yds over stones . As for using the free phone in airport ..well both airport and FS problem. Airport label mentions 'don't forget to use the # button - the FS card mentions a number beginning with a #. When one presses the hash button the phone gives error message . Asked a few staff at airport -- all blanked. Eventually found out that needed to punch 1314 then FS no on card WITHOUT hash. Mentioned to FS staff - they were aware phone had been 'upgraded and didn't require hash .. why didn't they tell me on way out ..and save me 10 mins. So OK .. but will use a different park for my next trip in April. There is lots to choose from.

Price was very good, and the shuttle buses were available immediately at departure and arrival. Having the car parked in a giant puddle when I returned was only reason for being marked down.

We sat in the mini bus for 15 minutes at 4am with the doors open...it was frosty!! The driver that took us to the airport on Thursday 13th was curt and rude. Passengers bags were taken out of the mini bus and thrown onto the wet ground = no tip. In complete contrast the driver who picked us up on 27th January was cheerful, helpful and friendly = £5 tip. Maybe someone should have a word with the 13 January driver....just a thought!

Both Drivers were very courteous and friendly. On return I had to wait at least 12 mins for the vehicle to pick me up, despite my telephone call (that went to their answer phone) from the Terminal. The Car Park surface being a made-up surface of gravel was undulating with ponding of rain water and I had to squeeze into my car to drive it forward, so I could access the boot, due to the very close proximity of other vehicles.

I feel your charges are reasonable and also in line with other airport parking, the only comment I would make is that loyal customers be given a discount card or similar as before. That would really be the icing on the cake. The staff are very friendly and you don't have to go looking for your car, especially in the dark.The car is there waiting for you near the reception area. We are very pleased with the service. Thank you.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
