As always, a seamless and smooth process. I pulled into the car park, just as the minibus driver was help some customers into the bus with their luggage, yet, he let me know that he would wait for me to check my car in before setting off.

Use FS 8 times out of 10 but price important! Nearest to airport (but not on!) Staff always good, attentive, turn around commendable and minutes to drop off. Good return procedures and car waiting for immediate use and on way in minutes

booked this carpark for my elderly parents with a wheelchair passenger.On arrival at the car park found out that it wasnt suitable for a transfer to the terminal buildng with a passenger in a wheelchair (i can find nowhere on the website details saying not suitable for the disbled). i would say staff done their best and took them to the terminal in their own car saying call when you get back we'll collet you,this was not so easy the courtesy phone was only a recorded message. After waiting at the bus stop when the bus did arrive the driver said he would contact reception for them. Fourty five minutes later the courtesy bus returning and finally getting through on the phone they were collected. Dissappointing especiallly as my parents are elderly and my brother in a wheelchair.

Service was outstanding. Car was ready and waiting with the engine on heating it up. The whole business was done seamlessly. Reported the freefone handset was not working in the arrivals area and had to use the other freefone unit in the departures area, but I am sure this will be attended to. Bus to and from the terminal was almost instantaneous, no waiting.

Generally when flying from Edinburgh this is my preferred car park. Transfer on Friday night had a stock car racing driver in the seat. Got thrown about needlessly - the only black mark.

As the weather was cold ,on our return the windscreen had been defrosted which enabled us to be on our way quicker and the car wasnt cold

Location was easy to find and very close to the airport. Check in and transfer went smoothly. Staff were polite and helpful. My vehicle was ready and waiting on return after a timeous pick up from the airport. All went without difficulty. Although one of the best priced parks I still believe that 45 pounds for 8 days parking is excessive.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
