I have no complaints about the service I wanted to know why Edinburgh is so much more expensive for a week, than Glasgow I paid double for 1 week than I did for 2 in glasgow in June/July I checked what I would have paid in Glasgow it was half what I had to pay for Edinburgh which to me is quite rediculous no doubt there is reasons I will think twice before going by car to Edinburgh Eileen McInally

My time spent at the car park check in seemed to be half of that spent by other travellers. Everything was so easy and quick.

Could do with getting the parking area tarmac'd as the car was filthy when we got it back and although we appreciate that it had been raining for a few days better parking conditions would have helped. Other than that everything went smoothly.

Transfer a small problem due to a new driver who took us around by your facility at Ratho before dropping us off. We'd opted for Flying Sot specifically because it was closer and we wanted to get on our way without going out of our way to Ratho. However, time lost was gained by our car being left to run and defrost, very helpful.

Reception service was good on outward journey on 15th October as was airport transfer. Return journey was poorly organised and resulted in unnecessary delays and vey poor customer service for following reasons: Courtesy phone was out of order on arrival and passengers had to use their mobiles/public phones to call reception. Waited for 35 mins. for pick up, met by a very rude driver who was not in control of situation and took out his bad temper on passengers, many of whom were elderly. Not enough seats on bus, consequently not all passengers were collected.

Directions to the car park are not very good - for instance they do not state the starting point - not clear if you are coming from Edinburgh or Glasgow. We expected to find a roundabout on the A8 whereas it is off the A8.

On my arival at he bus stance I waited for around 45 minutes for a bus to arrive when it finally arrived the driver sat in his cab for around 5 minutes on the phone whilst his customers stood in the cold and rain this was at 00.30am on Saturday 13th Oct. When he finnaly openned the back door of the bus he said he was only going to Low Cost carpark which was because I was going to Flying Scot and he refused to take me and my parner I know that the buses going to both carparks because the bus I finaly came went to both carparks. I have used Flying Scot over the last 2 years 3 times this year but will never use them again, with the competion at Edinburgh airport you need to step uo your customer service the bus driver should infact be reprimanded without your customers there is no company.

Directions for Flying Scot Edinburgh

No vans - only cars & 4x4 vehicles accepted - if turn up with a van you will be turned away

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return
On your return please use the courtesy phones ( Flying Scot/LowcostParking) located just outside the domestic and international arrivals hall or at the front doors or you can use your mobile on – 0131-335-3868 and make your way to stand 7 for collection. The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
