While the car park was fine the walk from the long stay car park was not easy. There was no direct route from our parking space to the start of the "walkway" that took you through the medium stay car patk. The walkway was a temporary set up which in may places had deep puddles, not ideal for those pulling their luggage.

Whilst I do not beleive that my low score is the fault of FHR, my wife and I were shocked to discover that the airport shuttle bus no longer exists. Anyone carrying a lot of luggage, would struggle, as would people with disabilities. Add inclement weather into the mix this would make for a very unpleasant experience.

The sign posts around the airport are confusing and contradictory, we ended up being directed by a nice lady from the ncp car park, otherwise we would probably still be driving around in circles. The car park itself isn't much better with cars parked in the road due to lack of parking spaces, so we ended up in the far reaches with a tidy walk to the airport. Now I know the pitfalls I would use the carpark again but beware and leave a little extra time to make sure your in the right place

A bit of walk with a full suitcase and in the rain and wind. Tight spaces. Cheap for the location though and no issues getting in or out.

Parking abslolutely fine but the walk to and from terminal with luggage dangerous and disappointing. I could not find the path through the car parks. As far as I could see no signposts. Had to go round road and not always a pavement. I thought the whole new set up awful

Poor signposting from the carpark to airport. Route difficult to follow and use. Surface of the car park very poor with potholes made it difficult to transfer cases with wheels or trolley. On leaving through the barrier it tod me I had £375 to pay.

Short walk to the terminal One slight problem when I put my ticket in at the exit barrier fee of £140 came up to be paid. However quickly resolved on the intercom and barrier opened however not sure how the problem arose.

Good reliable parking with plenty of spaces available and a short walk to terminal. One issue that I had was you didn't say that we needed to use one specific exit which would identify car reg and open barrier. I went to wrong one and when barrier didn't lift put in the issued ticket only to be asked for £220!!!! My panic levels were high as another motorist had done same in next exit, being charged £120. Only when he reversed and used the third exit barrier did I realise my mistake. Not what I needed at five past midnight on a wet Saturday morning.

I have already sent a review. My main gripe was on exit. I was being charged £176 but obviously I had already paid through your firm. It took me a while to exit; not what you need when returning from a holiday. I made a complaint re signage in car park but now realise that is nothing to do with your firm. The price was very reasonable and now that I know all facts, I will rate differently.

Had to walk through deep puddles in torrential rain to get to airport terminal. Also the walking exit route was not well signposted. Especially in the dark and the rain. Also the card wouldn’t operate the exit barrier so had to contact someone to help us exit at the end of our holiday. Only plus point was that it was cheaper than anywhere else.

Easy directions to long stay car park. Found a space easy enough. Good value for money. Only complaints I have is there were cars abandoned at edges and made it harder to manoeuvre round car park. Also couldn't see signs to walkway for airport as it was dark when we arrived. These are either not there or not very clear. Could also be some kind of shelter over walkway especially with Scottish weather. Overall it was good for the money we paid

This is a great car park if you don’t mind the ten minute walk to the terminal. Might be a pain in the rain, but this won’t stop us booking again. That said, it’s been nearly full the three times we’ve used it so may consider somewhere else in the holiday periods.

NO TRANSFER BUS - 5-10 minute walk to terminal - A new walking route has been built2.2m Height Restrictions.
Customers who require PRM assistance should contact airport services, for assistance on arrival day.
Edinburgh airport is easily reached via the A8 Glasgow Road, accessible either from Edinburgh town centre or junction 1 of the M9 motorway.
Coming from the A8 Glasgow Road, along Eastfield Road, follow the signs for Edinburgh Airport.
At the roundabout at the Moxy / DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel turn right, and take the third exit.
Go past the car rental centre and over the tram tracks.
Once over the tram tracks, there is another roundabout. Take the third exit and the entry to the Long Stay Car Park is on your left.
Please note - don't turn off early and park in NCP Scotpark as this is not an Edinburgh Airport car park and your booking won't be valid.

Arrival:
The car park has automatic number plate recognition - so make sure you give us your car registration number when you book. The machine at the entry barrier will recognise your number plate and give you a ticket with your registration number and booking reference on. Keep the ticket safe, as you'll need it when you leave the car park. If the barrier doesn't lift automatically, you should press the intercom button.
Park your car, making a note of which zone you're in.
A new walking route has been built, which passes through our Mid Stay car park (adjacent to Long Stay), through ‘East Termins’ (new drop-off Terminal), and ends in the main plaza. (Where the bus used to drop-off passengers)
Departure:
To exit the car park, drive up the barrier and insert your ticket. The system will check your details and the barrier will open automatically, however in some cases the system may fail to recognise your vehicle on entry. You will know if there has been a mis-read because your car registration will be mis-printed on your ticket. In these situations please drive up to the exit barrier as normal and press the buzzer for assistance. Please ensure you have your booking reference and or car registration number to hand. Do not enter any payment details or you will be charged again.
Make sure you have a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
You can cancel or amend your booking up to 24 hours prior to the date of arrival at the car park. No Changes can be made within 24 hours.
At the discretion of the car park you will have a 2 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 2 hour grace period on return. If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Edinburgh Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £50 per day or part thereof (subject to change)

If you know in advance of your return that you do need to park for longer than your pre-booked period, you can also book the additional days ad times on the web site. You must make sure you book for the same car park. On return press the buzzer and quote both booking reference numbers.
