What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

We had a really good experience using this car park. The only negative point we felt was that it was quite difficult to find due to lack of signage in the residential/industrial roads leading to the car park. This was our first time flying from Edinburgh Airport.

First time I used this car park since it changed location.would only MAYBE use it again if I had loads of time to spare.arrived back last night at 10.30pm.called lo cost at 10.50pm and was told a bus would be at stand 11in 5 mins.it took 15. Because the bus drops off at flying scot first we didn't actually get to our car until 11.30. And thankfully that was without a stop at t the Hilton because that would have made us even later.i have been using flying scot for 10 years and will continue to do so but lo Los new location is too far from the airport to qualify it as " airport parking".

Very polite and efficient receptionist and drivers. The only problem is trying to get to the car park as it is hellishly difficult to find. The small print instructions on the booking form are very helpful but difficult to follow if you are driving on your own.

Low-cost Parking Edinburgh provided an excellent service and would not hesitate to use them again. It was especially convenient for us having an overnight stay in the Travelodge nearby.

This is the second time this year i have used your service and on both occasions the driver has off loaded our bags at the flying scot carpark and then proceeded to be unhappy at having to reload the bags on to the bus. This could be avoided by asking all passengers on the bus which carpark they are going to. The driver seemed to be very stressed as there was only one bus running on both occassions.

Directions for Low Cost Parking

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
