Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

What security measures does the car park have?

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Easy to book and very economical . On arrival we were given a warm welcome and the `check-in` was painless and smooth. We were taken the short journey to the airport within 5 minutes of our arrival. I would definitely recommend Flying Scot again.

Service was efficient and staff were helpful. The advice to allow the half an hour before the time you needed to get to the airport was necessary and was useful to know. Whilst it is a 5 min transfer, this does depend on timings for the shuttle bus.

It was perfect. I arrived an hour early and there was no problem for me to park my car anyway without any additional charge. The journey to the airport barely took more than 5 minutes and the driver was very nice. I will definitely use this service again !

We were running late due to traffic on motorways and staff went out of their way to ensure we were processed as quickly as possible. And the driver with his knowledge of routes available avoided heavy traffic. thus ensuring we made it on time

No problems at all. Good directions to get there and friendly reception staff to greet us. Parking was a doddle. Will continue to use this site as long as the costs do not become prohibitive. Not sure I saved 15% offered via my email because I had used the service before, the new bus service from Fife may be more competitive, we'll wait and see what the charges are in April when we go away again.

Good service, easy to find and quick transfer to airport. Quick pick up on our return but our car was at the furthest end of the parking area which was quite a walk with luggage. Would've been five stars if our car had been at the collection point as has happened previously. Maybe be something to consider???

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
