Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Reception area and transfer coaches not the best I've seen but more than adequate for the short time used by customers(maybe the staff would have a different viewpoint). Staff all very pleasant and helpful - especially coach driver giving warning of motorway closures and diversions in operation on our return.

I have used Flying Scot several times before but was disappointed last time with the condition of the transfer bus. The bus was dirty and smelled of body odour therefore not a pleasant transfer to the airport.

Although we booked in to use the car park on this occasion as we were late for our flight we did not actually use the car park. We did arrive at the car park but were late and unsure as to whether we would make our flight particularly as the coach had just left as we arrived. The receptionist did contact the driver to advise we were late in the hope that he would have a quick turnaround at the airport, however we decided to leave and park within the airport grounds (at huge expense!) however, we did make our flight (and subsequent wedding in London). We appreciated the efforts of the staff and will continue to use your services in the future - we'll make sure we're on time next time!

Usually good. On Friday was kept waitingh 40 mins to get back to my car despite being told to make my way to the meeting point asap. Not a happy girl at 9pm on a Friday night

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
