Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. On arriving at the car park it was chaos and we could not get parked and was then instructed to just find a place on the right and park as the car park appeared to be overbooked at that particular time and there was a large number of people awaiting to book their car in. The driver transferring us to the airport was fantastic. On return the transfer from the airport was great but on getting to the car it was parked very close to another vehicle which also happened on our previous visit where my husband had to climb through the boot to get into the drivers seat..

Very prompt service.No waiting around..car checked in and bus ready to take passengers to airport and bus waiting at stop, on our return....Unlike last time, so much better to arrive back during daylight hours and dry weather.... Very happy with the service from Flying Scot. Totally hassle free experience at a great price. No waiting about to be taken to the airport & the same coming back. We just phoned once we'd collected our bags & when we came out the bus was waiting. This is the 2nd time we've used Flying Scot & will always use them when going away.

I don't think the length of time I had to wait was appropriate considering I was the only person in the van and in your yard. Had I been late this would have been stressful. I also didn't like the fact that I could have an express lift to the airport for an additional cost. Did you deliberately keep me waiting to see if I you would get additional money from me? I have a friend who recently used your service and funny enough he told me the same thing regards having an unexplained delay. If this is experienced the next time I use your service I wont ever use you again. One last thing, from a cost perspective and also the enviroment, why would you have a large 16 seater van pulling a large trailer take one person and a small carry on case to the airport. Surely it would be more cost effective to use a small to mid eco engine sized car. Cheers. Tom

Very easy check in/out process and efficient transfer process. Slight confusion on pick up date due to late return flight but transfer driver was able to clarify with office without any additional interaction by me. Parking site advertised as all Tarmac but large pot holes in concrete surface were numerous

- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726

- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
