Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Would advise that the Flying Scot park is no fun in heavy rain - puddles inches deep and not the '100% tarmac' as stated. Luckily our car was in a puddle only an inch deep, Service otherwise good and prompt.

Easy enough to find and the cheapest rates online. Fast, efficient service. Only one small glitch we got caught up in Glasgow airport on the way home through no fault of our own and the bus driver was a little abrupt saying we had kept everyone waiting even though we apologised.

good drop off service and I liked the additional facitilies of getting my car washed and valeted. however if I had known about that before I booked, I would have emptied my back seats and boot to get it hovered and polished. the pick up service was ok, but I phoned when I got off the plane and I was still waiting out in the cold for a while before the minibus arrived. it was 0c outside with a cold wind. however for the price its a good service.

- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
