Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Having used Flyingscot & BookFHR for many years I experienced the usual high standard of service I have come to expect, however with the yearly increases it will not be long before loyal customers such as myself find that even travelling 30 miles+ it is close to becoming cheaper to use a taxi, and that is not taking into account fuel costs.

Ideal parking place. Used a few times before, helpful staff, bus always available, apart from the odd occasion I've had to wait a few mins on return, but that's not a problem, busy place so book in advance, price excellent. Friendly drivers. Helpful. Recommended.

Easy to find, ready when we were in both directions. Very good price, our first time of using and already booked again for February. Only down side is the drop off point, I have used other carriers who got to drop and pick up from a closer point - not a problem in good weather but could be annoying in the pouring rain - very minor point though!

WE ARRIVED AT GLASGOW AIRPORT AND PHONED .IT WAS POURING WITH RAIN AND THERE WAS A CROWD WAITING TO GET PICKED UP .WHEN THE COACH CAME IT WAS A MAD DASH TO GET ON ,THERE WAS NO ORGANISATION .IT WOULD HELP,IF MAYBE THE DRIVER HAD THE NAMES OF THE ONES WHO PHONED FIRST IT WOULD HELP ,TO WAITING A LOT LONGER THAN THEY NEEDED TO ,OTHER WISE IT WAS QUITE GOOD .

Very impressed with the service at this car park facility. Very efficient check in and transfer. I would like to mention one particular aspect. On our way to the park I encountered flooded roads and my small car had to negotiate quite deep waters. As a result the front number plate became loose and was only held by one fastening screw. We pointed this out to the staff. When we returned a week later it had been fixed. Would be grateful if my thanks can get passed to the company.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
