Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Have used this park on several occasions with no problems. However the drop off and pick-up points are a bit far from the terminal if you are tired after a long journey.Also a fairly long wait at Airport until bus arrived.

Tremendous value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Easily accessed from the M8 ( once I realised that sharp right actually meant turning back on yourself at the traffic lights!). I will certainly use The Flying Scot again.

Friendly efficient and helpful service at a reasonable price, whose only drawback as with all off airport parking is the random luck of the timing of the shuttle bus which can give a 20 minute delay if you just missed one. They also deliver you to local airport hotels if required which is a great service.

Wasnt happy at having to wait 35mins at pick up point i had to phone and the girl told me the driver waited for us As i came out the terminal i tried to stop the driver but he drove past As i called to see what was happening the girl told me he waited then said he had a full bus So why would he wait for us if his bus was full Just said it was full to me so i wldnt argue with her but as it drove past me i saw that it wasnt full I had to be somewhere once i got my car but obviousley i was late due to this Wont be using yous again and i think you should teach your staff to have more manners when speaking to people on the telephone

As always the service was first class. Friendly staff at reception and friendly drivers. The driver on our return journey also gave us the easiest route for getting back to the motorway. I booked my car in for a mini valet while I was away and my goodness words can't describe the magnificent job that was done. My car hasn't looked this good since I bought it!!! A big thank you to everyone from my daughter, granddaughter & myself.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
