Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Used Flying Scot many times for safe storage of car while taking holiday breaks. Excellent service as usual and good to see transfer vehicles are now fairly new. Another excellent Flying Scot procedure is they look after your car keys while customer is on holiday. Only negative I can think of is that the car storage area could do with re-surfacing to make negotiating the car park easier while trying to trundle heavy suitcases back to your car. Finally I appreciate the discounts offered to previous loyal users of this facility.

The usual quality service, However ever increasing costs of parking at Flying Scot now mean that it cost the same as a 30 mile return taxi journey as it does for a parking. I have another two holidays booked for October & November and it is more than likely that after parking for many years 3 / 4 times a year with Flying Scot I will use a taxi,

Very handy for the airport. Transport to and from the airport was efficient but had to wait some time for the bus to fill before leaving the car part to go to the airport(minor quibble).

Excellent service on outward journey on 14th June as has been normal in the past, but very disappointed on our return late evening of 3rd July, long wait for pickup at airport and a surly driver,who didn't accept that we had been waiting for at least a half hour after phoning when we had our suitcase ! Not the usual prompt, courteous service and will probably change to another company next time.

Have used Flying Scot a lot over the years. Whilst they have been reliable in the past, the waiting times for a transfer back the car park have been getting longer. Not sure if they have enough busses on for the returns. I have noticed this at their Edinburgh car park as well (waited nearly half an hour for a transfer in May).

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

- Exit M8 at Junction 29

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
