This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Overall the parking was fine although finding the airport parking was not easy as the instuctions were misleading (they said after leaving the M8 at junction 29, go towards paisley and then turn right at the traffic lights at the T junction, the correct turning was in fact a right turn at the traffic lights, the road continued straight on into Paisley). The lady on reception when we arrived could best be described as humourless. On our return, having lost our parking receipt, different staff who were on duty could not have ben more helpful.

Everything went smoothly, from following the directions to dropping off the car. We arrived as a bus was ready to go to airport so we quickly checked in and were away. Transfer time is only 5 minutes and we were dropped just before the entrance. Coming back we called when we had collected our luggage and went out to the designated stop (which is clearly marked at the pick up area) and the bus arrived within a couple of minutes. We were the only collection at that time so we're straight back to the car park, where we were given our keys and advised where car was parked. Quick and easy and would use again. Was also the cheapest. They also offered valet service which I refused, then after I left thought to myself I should have found out costs etc. Possibly and idea that if it came up at time of booking then it could be selected and added on.

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
