Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. As usual excellent service from Flying Scot. Just one point--on returning from holiday, we were advised where to locate our car--fair enough but pulling 2 heavy suitcases over broken concrete within the car parking area was very difficult. This could be resolved by Flying Scot by applying some concrete screening materials to the pot-holes and large gaps in the car park surfacing.

I have booked with Flying Scot between 2 & 4 times a year either at Edinburgh or Glasgow and at most times I have been very happy with the service and costing, the exception being Edinburgh when for some reason at certain times of the year they raise their prices so as to become the most expensive in the area sometimes nearly three times which is the normal charge and then after a month or two reduce them again to their regular prices.

The whole experience of sorting out parking at Glasgow Airport for five weeks was made simple by using FHR. Finding the car park was easy Reception & transfer to Airport efficient and quick On return mini coach waiting to take us back to car park again with no wait Efficient hand over of keys and briefing of leaving procedure Overall an excellent sevice

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
