Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. I have always given this car park 5 stars before, but when you have a sullen polish person who grunts at you and upsets all the passengers to the airport and 2 weeks later he is there to pick you up again, four different customers were there all were going to complain. I said hello when we got to him, no answer, I walked by with the 2 heavy cases, I said to him Will I put these in then? Again no answer, but when I lifted the first one in he took it back out, turned it around and put it back in, again not a word spoken. Is this the service you are looking for? In June when we booked through fhr, we had a nice young man chatted away, what a difference, I will always book through fhr but the next time I will probably have to pay more for a different car park!

Easy to find. Very efficient when booking in. Bus left immediately. On return bus was there at pick up point within 5 minutes again very prompt service when collecting keys. Not over friendly or chatty but efficient which is all that matters. Would definitely use this company next time.

We were asked to phone when we had luggage, no one answered the phone. When we went to pick up point there was a large queue and there was no room on the bus. We were advised there was only one bus and we had to wait in the cold for the bus to go back to the car park then return for us. All the other car parks seem to have more than one bus.

A poor experience. On arrival, had to wait over 20 minutes for the bus to the airport and transfer time was 9 minutes not the stated 5. On return, called to request a pick-up and was told the bus would be there in ten minutes as it had 'just left'. It was actually 25 minutes before the bus turned up, and again the transfer time was ten minutes not the stated 5. And finally, when I got back to my car in the car park it was standing in a lake of water, which I had to wade through just to get in - not easy with luggage.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

- Exit M8 at Junction 29

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
