Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. On our return from holiday we had to wait about 25-30 minutes in bitterly cold conditions to be picked up, apparently because there was only one bus operating and this was insufficient to carry all the returning passengers on one trip.

I have used this car park in the past & this time was just as good as all the others. The staff are friendly, the transfers prompt & the price is very competitive. I would highly recommend this secure car park. I will continue to use Flying Scot.

When returning home,bus driver was waiting to pick all 14 passengers coming off the same flight...2 passengers had not made contact with free phone but still he hung on....many of the other passengers still on bus waiting to be transported back to the car park to get home,felt this wasn't as was expected....as the buses are supposed to run frequently...and everyone was left waiting on people who still hadn't come through customs and as they hadn't even fined for the driver to pick them up,would have been unaware a nearly full bus load was waiting on them..however after some persuasion the driver eventually headed back to the car park...

Could not find free phone to say I was there so had to use my mobile. Had to wait about 30 mins for a bus to come and collect me to take me to my car. Just as well it was a dry day.

Having used this car park a number of times we were slightly disappointed at being unable to have our car valeted and washed. On entering the reception I gave my name, then asked for the valet service. I was told it too late to add anything else on." This seemed rather odd and not great customer service.

No problems with any aspect of parking. Very easy to find and transfers were quick in both directions. Took advantage of offer to include car wash for our return and were happy with result. Would have no problem recommending booking with FHR in the future as price here was better than booking direct.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
