Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Only problem I found was on return had to wait 25mins from the time I phoned to when bus arrived. Have used this carpark for years and found they are not as quick as they were for collection on return.

Flying Scot is located close to airport and easy to find. On arrival staff dealt with us promptly and a bus was waiting to take us to airport. After our holiday we followed the instructions given to notify our arrival ( it should be noted that the phones in the baggage area need to have the handsets replaced as the numbers and symbols are no longer visible). The bus was waiting as for us. A very good service and I will definitely use Flying Scot again

Some staff very rude and unhelpful we had 2 cars with children car park very busy with no where to leave car to check in and when I did leave car someone started shouting at me to move it despite me saying I had handed my key in. This was already a sressful time with a child with autism and a 2 year old.

All very straight forward. Don't have to park your car yourself then drag cases to pickup point. Just drop car and keys at main office then on bus to airport. On return bus waiting ,driver helps with cases and car parked not far from office. Have booked again fir next holiday.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
