Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Overall the whole process was very easy and convenient. The only comment I will make is that when I collected the car I needed to walk to other end of car park, it was dark, wet and I felt slightly uncomfortable walking alone. Perhaps they should bring the car closer to Flying Scot terminal.

Excellent service our flight was delayed 24hrs n it was no problem to them only £3 extra charge excellent! Snow had bn really heavy for 3 days prior to us coming home- the guys had cleared all the snow off the windows before we drove off.

Poor 1) They surprise you with an extra £5 charge because I have a short wheel base transporter. (shorter than a lot of estates) 2) The service from car park to airport was very slow 3) No attempt was made to clear any snow from the car park 4) The staff (not the drivers) are consistantly discourteous. This is my first moan in five years of using these external car parks

Have used Flying Scot a number of times and been happy with their service however this time I was disappointed that whilst they could not clear the entire car park of snow I would have expected the main access roads within the car park to have been cleared when we returned on the 4th March I will continue to use them despite this

Friendly and efficient service again from Flying Scot. We were transferred quickly , bags were helped on the bus and the bus was waiting for us when we returned from holiday. The whole staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only slight issue was the pick up arrangements.It was a longish wait for the minibus to arrive, at least 25 min after the initial phone call. A queue had formed but the first minibus stopped past the bus stop and it was a free for all to get on. Some went to load their cases at back of bus first others jumped straight on some with their cases. There seemed to be no instructions or procedure in place. Everything was great at drop off.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
