We always use this long stay car park. Easy from start to finish. Parking so organised , transport bus - only 2 minute wait. Clear signage letting you know about return bus stop arrangements. Bus stop situated immediately outside departures/ arrivals entrance. On our return, bus waiting, picked car up easily. From leaving arrivals door to driving home, this took 15 minutes in total. Competitive price and reliability.

Good signage to car park, large car park, plenty of spaces! Unsure why 7 nights is counted as long stay, should it not be a medium stay, maybe 14 days for a long stay! However regular bus service to the airport terminal was excellent!!

After what felt like a long wait the bus came with lots of people getting on ours was the first stop but we couldn’t get off as the bud was so packed and couldn’t get to our cases no were for the people to move cases were sliding all over need more buses on !

Need to amend instructions for long stay car park. It is number plate recognition so no parking ticket and validation now required - which caused us confusion on arriving !!!!

Poorly signed if you drive to the airport via the back roads from Leeds. Long term parking is only has a sign one side of the road. Other than that the bus system worked well

Pre booked my parking at the long stay. When I arrived at the barrier it raised without dispensing a ticket. On my return the confirmation email stated I had to go to check in hall A to validate my ticket. A bit confusing as I didn’t have one. Spoke to a nice lady at the help desk who told me the barrier reads your registration and no need for a ticket! confirmation email from fhr a bit confusing.

Easy to use airport parking especially the short distance from the Terminal buildings and short time spent on courtesy pick up bus- NB this car park operates on automatic number plate recognition for entry and exit and not on the method as stated by FHR - which they state you need to take a ticket on arrival from the machine then have your parking voucher validated at a desk inside the building before you leave the Terminal. This was the case for me and I was a pre booked and pre paid customer.

At the roundabout on the A658, near the airport, take the third exit if you are travelling north, and the first exit if you are travelling south, onto Whitehouse Lane.
Take the second exit at the next roundabout.
Take the first right after the Travelodge and follow signs for the Long Stay car park.
You can park in either Long Stay 1 or Long Stay 2.
Give yourself at least 20 minutes to park and get to the airport.
On Arrival:
You should bring a copy of your confirmation with you.
Pull up to the car park's entrance barrier and your car registration will be recognised and the barrier will lift to let you in. If your car registration plate is not recognised or if you need any assistance just press the call button which can be found on all entry or exit barriers at the car park.
Do not use your debit or credit card at any time or you could be charged again for your parking.
You can drive into the car park and pick a free space. Once you've parked, follow signs to catch the car park's bus to the terminal. It runs when it's needed and takes 4 minutes. Skis, bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on the transfer buses.
On Return
When you get back, catch the bus to the car park from where it dropped you off and find your car where you left it. Follow the signs to the exit and as you approach the barrier your car registration plate will be recognised and the barrier will lift.
If your car registration plate is not recognised or if you need any assistance just press the call button which can be found on all entry or exit barriers at the car park.
Do not use your debit or credit card at any time or you could be charged again for your parking.
