Seamless operation entrancing through the barrier with the number plate recognition, the bus came along almost immediately we had parked the car, and this was at 4am. The same process on return, the bus arrived at the airport as soon as we came out of the arrivals hall, and again, the number plate recognition on exiting worked perfectly.

An excellent service. We entered the car park with no delays. The transfer service provided was prompt and very efficient. On our return a bus was waiting at the bus stop so we were straight on and back to the car park immediately. All staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Car park easy to find, had a few problems accessing it as neither the number recognition nor the bar code on the travel receipt worked, had to rely on the good old fashioned speaking to someone to raise the entry barrier, who said modern technology was better. The only other slight fault I would have was with the car park itself, lots of uneven ground and potholes, which given the rain we've had manifested themselves into deep pools of water.

The only problem I experienced was that after parking up and wheeling a Suitcase along the Tarmac ring road of the carpark my case got soaked, because like most cases the bottom of the case is only 3/4 of an inch off the ground and there were pools of standing water across the full width of the road even though it was not raining. In the end I had to lift my 25kg case over 10 ft to15 ft stretches of water and then go back and do the same for my wife's. Surely it would be possible to make roads with decent drainage,for instance a little higher in the middle than at the edges. Sorry for the gripe, but you did ask.

Hassle free parking. Regular transfer buses with pick up points close to parking/terminal. Used in the past and will continue to book in the future. Minor exit problem on this occasion due to no token issued on entry however sorted using intercom at exit.

When we arrived at the jetpark 1 car park on 27 December we couldn't gain entry. We telephoned the office through the control at the gate. They did not recognise our booking reference but let us park. On our return we had to check again at the gate to leave the car park and we only then realised that the car registration was wrong. It was given as MB11OBM when it should have been ML11OBM. I do not know whose mistake this was and we were allowed to leave the car park after giving the reference number again.

Easy, simple and secure parking facilities. You keep your keys, which I liked. The only thing I didn't like were the pot holes which were filled with water due to rain. This made wheeling our cases from the car to the bus stop a bit tricky.

Directions for JetParks Car Park 1

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

IMPORTANT: Suitable for T2 passengers ONLY - transfers only to and from T2

Postcode- Jetparks 1: M90 5AZ

Exit the M56 at Junction 5. Keep to the left and take the first exit signposted Terminal 2.
At the roundabout at the top of the slope, take the first exit into Enterprise Way, and then approximately 0.1 mile yards further on, turn left into Thorley Lane.
Continue down Thorley Lane, past the Etrop Grange Hotel, and the entrance to Jet Parks 1 is immediately afterwards on your left-hand side.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Entry Instructions
On arrival at the barrier, the car reg is read by the ANPR camera and the barrier will automatically raise (Do not press for a token). If the barrier does not raise automatically, please press the intercom where you will be asked to quote your booking reference and booking details to validate your booking prior to gaining entry to the car park.

Exit Instructions
On return follow signs to Airport car park bus stops. Jet Parks buses stop at 5. If the exit barrier does not rise please press help button quote FHR and the long reference number starting with an 'M' which is just under your car details on your voucher - the staff will confirm booking and ask you to deposit the orange token. The barrier will then rise.

If prompted for over-stay payment use integrated chip & pin device.
If you have a query please press the intercom button.
When arriving and departing from the car park, please ensure that you have your car park booking reference to hand.

Please keep your car keys with you at all times

Bus transfers from the Car Park to the terminal buildings: Make your way to the nearest bus stop which should be clearly visible from most areas of the car park. Bus running every 15 mins, journey time approx. 5 mins.

Follow exit signs and make your way out of the arrivals lounge. Follow signs for Manchester Airport Car Parks bus stops. Please use bus number 5.

Height restriction of 2.2 metres (7ft 2in). Trailers are not permitted in any of our parking facilities.

Blue Badge parking spaces are available at all of our Jet Parks car parks. Users of these bays usually board the transfer bus before other passengers and are given seating priority and dedicated wheelchair points on board. The driver can assist you on and off the bus if required.

Help points are located at the departure entrance doors or the arrivals exit doors at each terminal should you require a wheelchair or further assistance. Alternatively please proceed to the Reception Point in the Check-in hall at departures level.
All drivers are urged to check travel conditions before setting out on journeys.

Mobility scooters are allowed on the transfer buses. Please advise the driver of any assistance you may require with getting the scooter on and off the bus, and they will happy to help.

At the discretion of the car park you will have a 4 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 6 hour grace period on return. If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Manchester Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £61.40 per day or part thereof (subject to change) - If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
