Overall very happy with cost paid and convenience and ease of booking online. Only reason I gave a 4 star was automatic barrier did not work on entry and had to get given access, through help facility at barrier. May of been a very good reason for this....maybe I turned up prior to time selected on booking. But this I know is just being picky - so apologies for that, just giving true feedback. As stated above happy with service and would use this service again.

Easy to find and instant access via car plate number which was good .... then took us about 30 minutes of driving round and round to actually find a car space which created added stress thinking that we might miss our airport check-in time. Some way of ensuring a pre-booked allocated car space would make this service excellent !

Sat nav didnt recognise the postcode but thankfully it was just down from the premier inn. Parking is a free for all bus service is ideal taking you straight to the terminal.. Would use again

Been to Jet Parks several times and no problems. However this time was terrible. Car park at Jet Parks 1 was crowded, myself and at least 8 other drivers went round the car park twice with no spaces available. Had to park where I could, sticking out onto the road. Spent all holiday worried about getting hit. Went into Jet Parks 2 on the bus and there was plenty of room.Disappointed

Easy to find and close to the airport. Transfer time was good both ways. Only problem was finding a space, we had to do 2 laps of the car park before we found a space , some others gave up and went to jet parks 2.

Have used this car park many times and always very happy with the service. It's close to the airport and shuttle transfers are frequent . Very convenient and would recommend.

got to the airport with letter sent and tried to gain access to car park but i only had the booking reference luckily for me they let me park the car ,had to ring home and ask them to see if i had missed somethink on the e.mail ,but to find the car park ref number they had to ring up.

Booking process was good. Turned up on time to be greeted by two machines saying out of order. Pushed the help key and was told car park was full. Was directed to long stay car park at terminal 2 as was told booking would be valid. Scanned qr code and took token. I then emailed you to confirm booking would be honoured and was given a quick reply with information. On exiting car park and inserting token to leave was told to pay £105. 00. Followed instructions on the email reply and spoke to an operator who was extremely pleasant and efficient and opened the barrier to leave.

we were booked into jet 1, but when we arrived we were told that the car park was full and we were told we would have to go to jet 2 car park, so why did we get comformation for jet1 when it was full plus when we arrived at jet2 he could not find booking ref then he had to find it through car reg waited at least 5 mins to get in plenty cars behind waiting to get in.

Overall this was a very good experience apart from the following issue. I had informed the company that I would be bringing a different car to the one originally booked and I received an e-mail acknowledging that. However on arrival at the car park the number of my car was not recognised at the barrier. A 'phone call sorted this out, but obviously the system should have been updated. The transport arrangements were very good and the car park seemed secure, although I was a little uneasy about there being no staff actually on duty at the park.

Arrived at jet park 1, was told it was full and had to go to JP 2. Arrived at JP 2 staff told me I couldn't park here???? After 15 min at the gate they said I could finally park. Upon my return I couldn't get out as I didn't have a token and was told I should have received one when I parked. Again I was stuck at the gate for a further 10 min

I booked Manchester Airport JetParks Car Park 1 late on Saturday 31-Aug-13 to park late-morning the next day on Sunday 01-Sep-13. When I got to the Car Park on-time, I could not get in because my booking had somehow not got through to the Car Park operator. I had booked & paid for my Car Park the previous night and (thought) I had printed out the appropriate confirmation e-mails. I used the help-phone on the Car Park gate to speak to the operator. They were reasonably helpful; but said that they did not have my booking on record. I gave them my registration number, etc; but still they couldn't find me. I am grateful that they let me in after a couple of minutes explaining. However, despite driving slowly all the way round Car Park 1 I could not find any vacant spaces. I met up with another gentleman in a car who was also unable to find a space. We went to the help-phone and were advised to leave Car Park 1 and try Car Park 2 instead (which is a few hundred yards down the road). This was fine but because they didn't have my booking on record I had to explain & plead to get out of Car Park 1 and then again to get into Car Park 2! Fortunately I found a space in Car Park 2 fairly quickly but even that was nearly full! The bus to the airport worked well. On return from my holiday a week later, the airport bus worked well again. I actually went to the wrong Car Park at first because I was a bit befuddled after a long flight and couldn't quite remember where I ended up. However, I jumped back on the same bus and was taken to the Car Park where my car was parked. I drove to the Car Park exit and used the help-phone. I was very relieved that my booking was now 'on the system' and they let me out without a problem. I have given this service 2 stars because 'it worked in the end' after a short period of stress & time-wasting. But I would have been very upset if I'd missed my flight because of the car-parking problems. I arrived at the Car Park in good time for the flight but the hassle I experienced meant I was on the last-minute for the flight. Happily, the staff I spoke to were reasonable people (not jobsworths) and they saved the day for me. It's a shame that the system let me down in both not processing my booking and allowing me to book in to a Car Park with no spaces left!

Over subscribed. Very difficult to find a space. Only a few available right near exit. As a result, many people parked on ends of rows where they shouldn't be, causing less space for bus to get round. Some spaces on hard tarmac ground, but mostly just stoned. Buses good and very regular. Easy and secure barrier system. Kept own car key as car park unmanned.

Car park fine. On return from holiday battery dead on car spoke via intercom to staff who contacted AA van .Was with us withing 5 Minutes and got us started straight away.

Directions for JetParks Car Park 1

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

IMPORTANT: Suitable for T2 passengers ONLY - transfers only to and from T2

Postcode- Jetparks 1: M90 5AZ

Exit the M56 at Junction 5. Keep to the left and take the first exit signposted Terminal 2.
At the roundabout at the top of the slope, take the first exit into Enterprise Way, and then approximately 0.1 mile yards further on, turn left into Thorley Lane.
Continue down Thorley Lane, past the Etrop Grange Hotel, and the entrance to Jet Parks 1 is immediately afterwards on your left-hand side.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Entry Instructions
On arrival at the barrier, the car reg is read by the ANPR camera and the barrier will automatically raise (Do not press for a token). If the barrier does not raise automatically, please press the intercom where you will be asked to quote your booking reference and booking details to validate your booking prior to gaining entry to the car park.

Exit Instructions
On return follow signs to Airport car park bus stops. Jet Parks buses stop at 5. If the exit barrier does not rise please press help button quote FHR and the long reference number starting with an 'M' which is just under your car details on your voucher - the staff will confirm booking and ask you to deposit the orange token. The barrier will then rise.

If prompted for over-stay payment use integrated chip & pin device.
If you have a query please press the intercom button.
When arriving and departing from the car park, please ensure that you have your car park booking reference to hand.

Please keep your car keys with you at all times

Bus transfers from the Car Park to the terminal buildings: Make your way to the nearest bus stop which should be clearly visible from most areas of the car park. Bus running every 15 mins, journey time approx. 5 mins.

Follow exit signs and make your way out of the arrivals lounge. Follow signs for Manchester Airport Car Parks bus stops. Please use bus number 5.

Height restriction of 2.2 metres (7ft 2in). Trailers are not permitted in any of our parking facilities.

Blue Badge parking spaces are available at all of our Jet Parks car parks. Users of these bays usually board the transfer bus before other passengers and are given seating priority and dedicated wheelchair points on board. The driver can assist you on and off the bus if required.

Help points are located at the departure entrance doors or the arrivals exit doors at each terminal should you require a wheelchair or further assistance. Alternatively please proceed to the Reception Point in the Check-in hall at departures level.
All drivers are urged to check travel conditions before setting out on journeys.

Mobility scooters are allowed on the transfer buses. Please advise the driver of any assistance you may require with getting the scooter on and off the bus, and they will happy to help.

At the discretion of the car park you will have a 4 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 6 hour grace period on return. If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Manchester Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £61.40 per day or part thereof (subject to change) - If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
