We had to wait ages till we were picked up from the airport which delayed our homeward journey to Edinburgh. It was quite frustrating. Apart from that, no other problems.

This is the second time we have used Callerton. Ideal location with prompt transfer to the airport. On return journey transfer bus was full therefore we had to wait till it took a load of passengers then came back for more but this only took 5 minutes. When arriving back at the parking all cars we were waiting ready for us which was great. Would certainly use again and recommend.

We have used Callerton Parking on many occasions and as previously we had no problems at all and always find Callerton to be efficient both on getting us to the airport and on picking us up on return. I would definitely use Callerton again if flying from Newcastle and would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family

The only problem we had was we could not contact Callerton Parking when we arrived back, this was due to poor mobile signal and a lack of phones(working) in the terminal. Other people did not ring they just assumed they would be picked up. Buses could have been better marked and a pick up point mentioned before departure. Once I got through on a phone transport was there within minutes as the operator promised. Staff were excellent.

Very good service. Only 5 minutes to the airport. We left our keys with our car so it could be parked, and it was waiting at the entrance for us to climb into as soon as we got off the bus, so there was no need to search for it.

I was very disappointed wiht the return service. The comapnay must have known how manyfamilies they were to pick up from our flight yet they failed to ensure there were enough buses to transport them to pick up their cars. it was late and many had long drives. This problem added an hour onto my journey.

As always the staff were very efficient on departure from Newcastle they only took a couple of minutes to get us onto the bus and to the airport,our return was equally efficient ,and our car ready and waiting to go,we will continue to use callerton,

When leaving my car the mini bus driver was pleasant. It was pouring with rain when we arrived back in Newcastle, it took us a minute or two to locate mini bus and the driver was quite grumpy, but he was still waiting on other people so it,s not as if we held him up

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
