Please advise in your directions to the parking facility that when turning left after the tram lines that one has to be vigilant! We were so busy and anxious to find the car parking for the first time at a very early hour that we overlooked the flashing lights and received a fine and points. It will not stop us booking again, but we will be more aware of the trams next time!

Must admit was a bit scared when we first arrived at the parking!! Husband did not look too pleased. Staff were very friendly and helpful which made it feel a little better. Bus transfer was fine, but could be doing with updating compared to other local parking place transfer buses. Information was given for what to do when we arrived home and they were there very quickly to pick us up and take us back to pick up our car. Car was safe and at the front for us to drive home. The young man who picked us up from airport was lovely and very friendly. Would use this place again, but would say a little tidy up of entrance would maybe sell the place a bit more.

very cheap place to park however only 1 shuttle to airport so we hadto wait. weren't given details for pick up off plane. had to wait long time from plane til getting to car park bus was back 3 times before there was space for us.

On returning we telephoned for collection and were informed we would be collected soon . After 25 minutes we had still not been collected and rang again- to be informed they thought we had been collected and they would send a driver out. Not good enough when you have a young child with you!

Mostly friendly staff, good airport transfer. A bit of a faff at 4.30 in the morning getting the high volume of cars processed into such a small space. Security was not quite Fort Knox, but good value for money.

when we arrived there were people standing about all over the place awaiting a mini coach - some families had to get back off as there was not enough room for then all on the mini coach. No direction or information from staff. They need to work on organisation and customer relations. Only positive was the location and short transfer time. Would recommend anyone else to pay an extra few pound and park at long stay airport.

Very good service transfer only took couple of minutes and we were collected really quickly only had to wait 5 minutes and car was waiting on our return at reception door.

car park was fine and transfer to airport was no problem but on returning I rang and was told the van was already at the airport but unfortunately it had just left we waited apprx 20mins for the next one but by then there were a few more people waiting and instead of the first ones waiting the people from the back got on first.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
