Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Please call the number on your voucher when you are 10 minutes from the airport.Your car will be collected from the forecourt outside the terminal in Zone C of the Express set Down area unless otherwise advised and delivered back to you there.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Please collect all your luggage and clear customs before calling the number on your confirmation Option 1 to have your car delivered. Make your way to the forecourt, just outside the terminal doors and wait in Zone C by the flag poles. £7.00 (subject to change) Airport Fee is payable by you ONLINE on your return by 23:59 the day after your return https://pay.stanstedairport.com/latepaysearch/vrnsearch due to the airport now operating a barrierless system and using ANPR.

We have used the 'Meet & Greet' at Gatwick and Stansted. It has proven to be a great service, making the trip to and from the airport much easier. The staff have all been helpful and polite - from those on the end of the telephone to the drivers, Thank you FHR.

I would use the service again, depending on the cost of doing so. Not the most competitive on price, but there again any idiot which thinks that the companies are not all aware of what their competition is charging, is exactly that. No problems whatsoever with the experience. I mean there isn't enough interaction beyond perfunctory to rate as excellent or wonderful. The airport traffic was insane on my return and this affected returning the car but that's obviously outside the control of FHR.

On arrival at Stansted the guy who met us was in the right place at the right time and was very polite. Our issue was returning. Roads around Stansted were a nightmare and I certainly do not blame the meet and greet guys for that. However when we rang the number to arrange delivery of our car they said go to the required area. We did this and spoke to a guy from our company who had just delivered a car to someone else. He then disappeared in a van. We waited 40 mins for our car and low and behold the guy we had spoken to was driving it. During this time we had a large downpour of rain with no cover. It took 4 hours to get home and my clothes were still wet. They knew the car would not be there when they said it would be.

Friendly professional staff. Driver was waiting on arrival and we had a about 10 minute wait for the return of the vehicle. Drop off is right outside the departures entrance, so very convenient.

ARRIVED 15 MINS EARLY. WAITED 20 MINS FOR DRIVER TO FIND PAPER WORK. HE HAD IT ALL THE TIME BUT JUST FOBBED ME OFF. CAR WAS FILTHY WHEN I PICKED IT UP A WEEK LATER WITH ANIMAL PAW PRINTS RUNNING OVER THE BOOT.

Very efficient. They were waiting for us when we arrived, even though we were slightly late. I had got the return time wrong, which I realised on holiday, but when I phoned to rectify this , the girl on the phone was lovely and it was no problem to change it to the correct time. Even emailing a new confirmation. Would recommend them, and shall use them again.

excellent service, no waiting in the cold for drivers to turn up. called as instructed.driver waiting when we arrived at meeting point. car brought back to meeting point seconds after we got there. was kept well informed via emails. this has turned out to be the best meet and greet service I have used.

Usually very happy with this service but was a bit miffed to wait 16 minutes for return of car when it was cold, dark and wet. I chose you because I thought you parked on the airport grounds and so would be a quicker service!!

Outbound meet instructions:

Due to the forecourt tariffs changing at Stansted it is essential that you call the number on your confirmation Option 1 when you are 10 minutes from the airport. Failure to do may result in extra charges of £50 being imposed.

Follow signs for Express Set Down which is located directly outside the terminal building up on the forecourt. Drive along to the area marked zone C located centrally on right hand side of the terminal road. If there are any changes to the meet point you will be advised when you call.

If there are issues with the forecourt you may be told when you call to go to the Orange Short Stay Car Park instead (do not go here unless you are told to)- Follow signs to the terminal. As you approach the terminal follow signs for short stay car parking and head for the furthest car park, sign posted orange short stay car park'. Take a ticket and follow the road round to the orange bollards, pull in on the left hand side, park and your driver will meet you there. Please make sure you hand your car park ticket to the driver.
If you experience difficulties with our main contact number please use the Emergency number the number on your confirmation to contact the drivers.

On occasions the airport will make operational changes to the forecourt. You will be informed if this is the case when you call and our alternative return point is the Orange Short Stay Car park - When exiting the terminal turn left toward stairs go down one level to Orange Short Stay Car park, This car park has a 10 minute free period. It is therefore essential you are ready to collect your car otherwise you will be liable for any excess car park fees.

if i am delayed in either direction. is there a surcharge? Are there any additional payments i may be liable for?thanksYou would only be charged if you are delayed and the booking goes into the following day. The car park would then charge you the daily rate when you collect the vehicle.
How far is the terminal from pick up point..It is a two minute walk.
