we had a 1 night stay before travelling on our holiday . we also left the car there for the time we were away. The hotel with parking package was incredibly good value.The room was very good and the bed was really comfortable. leaving the car was fine and collecting it on return was very quick and efficient.

Despite other negative reviews, our stay at the Copthorne Effingham was very pleasant. Room was large and clean. Staff were most courteous. A bargain price for acommodation and car parking.

Great room and easy to get to Gatwick using transport provided. No issues with getting the taxi back. Also left my phone behind and called them to let them know and they had it there ready for me to collect on my return

It's cheap. For a reason. Tired hotel, broken down barrier when trying to enter the car park. Not enough reception staff to handle more than 3 people checking in at one time. Our TV wasn't working and after ringing down to reception which was unanswered I tried calling the hotel on the external number but no answer again. I walked into reception. Member of staff advised he couldn't leave the desk until his manager came back in 20 minutes time.

Service was very prompt and with no hiccups at all. Staff were friendly and explain the small amount of paperwork to check car in and collection after trip.

Clean but tired needs updating very helpful friendly staff shuttle bus arrived on time and easy to do. Car had been moved on our return and had a small dent in the wing probably another car door opened onto it which wasn't there before, which was annoying as we parked where that wouldn't have happened. Getting back from airport left to us taxi was expensive local bus 400 stops at dukes head and runs hourly but unfortunately delayed 45mins so long wait to return. Generally good

I thought we would benefit using the Hotel due to an early morning flight and Car Parking ,but it worked out to be a lot more expensive than expected because of the transfer to and from the Airport . I think you should have courtesy transfers.

Hotel is a little out of the airport , but the rooms were perfectly adequate for what we wanted . Car parking is easy and the staff were good . I was unhappy that they charged for wifi, but that's not unusual . There's a superb pub within a short walk and we are there , so can't comment on the food . Bar is ok , but sports bar was better , although very quiet . Taxi to gatwick is about £17 for a 7 seater . The shuttle bus doesn't return from the airport to hotel with passengers

my car was moved, from where I had parked it, without my prior knowledge that it would be. The hotel should advise you where to park for the allocated airport parking spaces when you arrive or at least advise you that they move cars around. Other then that could not fault anything else.

The car was moved during the two week parking period and was quite muddy. The hotel was not 4 star and was rather tired although clean. Good value for money but I think next time we would like to know where we are staying.

Good overnight Hotel. Got a good deal for one night plus 15 days parking from FHR. Hotel rooms a little tired looking but comfortable and ok for 1 night. It was really busy when we arrived and had to search for a parking space. Parking all around hotel in a large area eventually found one. Staff were all vey helpful and friendly. Overall very pleased and got value for money.

Very spacious family room clean and tidy , wide selection of food options for adults and children . Friendly and welcoming staff . Short transfer times , simple with a taxis drop off and pick up and reasonable prices. Car parked on site. Have recommend to friends already and will be booking again next year .

Great service from arriving at hotel, room was very comfortable, food and drinks in sports bar were reasonably priced, transfer to airport was also good. On arriving back to UK the taxi service the hotel use were amazing, prompt and not too expensive, we would definitely use hotel with parking again

Friendly, helpful staff at the Copthorne Effingham. When we enquired about breakfast we were offered it along with a room upgrade for 30 pounds for the two of us. This represented good value because we had a lovely balcony complete with table and chairs and lovely views. Outward transfer was good but we were disappointed with the taxi home because we had to wait at the side of the road for 25 minutes before it arrived (we rang as soon as we had collected our baggage). It was very confusing because when the taxi finally arrived it didn't have the company name on it!
