Arora International Hotel

Excellent hotel. Unfortunately if you have booked for the airport transfer it's a let down. That only have a six seater mini bus that runs hourly. This gets booked up very quickly and you may be disappointed. For the return you have to book the minibus in advance which is difficult as you have to estimate how long it takes for you to recover your luggage etc. If your flight has any delay then you are snookered. We finished up paying £19 for a taxi back to the hotel. As nice as this hotel is I would not use it again for parka nd ride for Gatwick.

Used this hotel for hotel and parking for a holiday from Gatwick Airports, parked car and stayed on return. Lovely hotel and surroundings, very polite and knowledgeable staff, car parking excellent food very reasonable and of good quality. Arrived at 4am for an early morning flight and was on the way to the airport in a.taxi arranged by reception in a matter of minutes. Whole experience was great from start to finish! Well done Arora, would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room . We parked our car in their car park & we were able to keep our car keys....this was our reason for using the hotel. We used their shuttle to the airport but we had not booked it for our return & at 17,30 it had stopped running. The hotel put us through to a taxi company & the journey cost £12......about 15mins. Do not use the taxi service stand at the airport as it was really expensive. Supper in the bar was ok .

Clean well equipped room and lovely bathroom. Bed however was very soft and not the comfiest. Restaurants looked lovely however the soft drinks in the pub were awful and we asked for a refund as totally flat and they called a manager to verify this before they'd change our drinks! Food didn't look great in the pub so we ate outside of the hotel. Quiet overnight and great parking option for stay and fly as you keep your car keys.

The hotel was only 15 mins from the airport and had underground parking was was a plus. But it loses points for having the most uncomfortable beds of any hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere worldwide. The so called called room service was non existent, we looked at the menu for something light as it was late. The only thing available was curry or cold rolls or pizza. We tried to order pizza only to be told they had run out of bases and the only thing we could have was rolls. We ordered takeaway from around the corner which arrived hot and within minutes. An international airport hotel which deals with people arriving all hours of the night and day should be able to provide food whatever the time. When we checked in we asked for hotel transfer to the terminal only to be told that the bus only runs hourly on the quarter to the hour and it was full. We either could go an hour earlier or have a taxi. We paid for a taxi. All in all I would never recommend this hotel or stay in it again, and I have stayed in plenty of airport hotels to compare this was the worst.

A nice hotel set close to the town centre. The rooms are okay, the shuttle to and from the airport is quite limited at once an hour but it is right next to the train station which runs trains every 15 minutes direct into Gatwick South terminal, 2 stops away. Parking is under the hotel and seems very safe and secure.

Cost an extra £25 in return taxi fares because there was no room on the Hotel’s shuttle bus, so for this reason I won’t be using this Hotel in future bookings.

Bed and the food. very good The transfer to the airport was not available going because it was fully booked (only eight seater) so had to get a taxi (£11.00) Nevertheless will go again as I was generally pleased

The hotel was easy to locate in the centre of Crawley. We stayed at the hotel the night prior to our holiday. A modern hotel and the room was very nice , spacious and clean with a comfy bed.. The open lounge area was pleasant but many tables had dirty glasses, cups , saucers which had not been cleaned away. The car parking was in a safe underground area. We booked the shuttle bus for trip to Gatwick south terminal. We were given instructions about our return trip shuttle. However, on calling the hotel they said the shuttle was not running [though it was in their time schedule] and just put us through to the taxi company they use, which cost £3 more than the shuttle. This is not satisfactory .

The hotels one where we have stayed before. It's lovely - good staff, nice rooms, etc. We left the car there for 2 weeks, as per the deal we had bought. There were no issues at all.

Perfect for Gatwick South. Downsides - parking is below ground with no lift (that we could find) between the car park and reception. A pain with heavy bags. Reception ladies were lovely. Room was fine and comfortable to sleep in. Dinner in the Grill restaurant which was fabulous, if a little pricey. Check out was smooth for an early flight but because it was early and Sunday we couldn't use the direct train route and had to take a taxi. Used the train on the way back which was easy and cheaper than a taxi and stops directly behind the hotel. Would recommend and would use again.

Very good hotel , a little far from the airport but the Taxi was £12 each way . Car was left in covered car park under the hotel and I kept my keys which was nice. We had a few drinks in the pub which was very reasonable and had a lovely dinner in the Lounge , this was very nice and normal hotel prices (£70 for three main courses and desserts and a bottle of wine ) the room where large with everything you need, we had a good night's sleep. There is a little shop by reception where you can buy water and snacks . Over all a very pleasant stay

Comfortable hotel with easy access to the shops and restaurants in Crawley. I hadn't known about the hotel's shuttle service but found it useful especially as the train station was closed for weekend works. Car parking facility meant I could leave my car safely parked while away on holiday.
